Among English-speaking trans people who inject testosterone weekly or biweekly, I wonder if there's a disproportionate number who inject on Tuesdays just for the effect of "Testosterone Tuesdays"

I’m thinking about this tweet and how Lesbisk bevægelse (danish lesbian activist group from 1974-96) had it in their manifest that they were anti television. And idk. We today settle for so little. I’m not one to talk, i watched Thor Love and Thunder and was happy with Valkyries gesture. But with the cancelation of wlw shows and horrensous ending of Killing Eve i’m just wondering if i’ve have had enough. We’re so hungry for stories and art but we’re also so hungry for being mainstream and a part of the group that at most doesnt really understand us but the majority of the time just tries to make us as small and palatable as possible.

Are they trying to understand? Do they want to change? When is it time to forgive the cis normative society? Is it ever? Because being queer, won’t that forever be a gift of subversion and creativity that we can use if we want to? Or aren’t we just people like everyone else who wants to belong? Probably both in some way.

I think we should engage more in our local comunity if we can and find others who understand us and seek art that doesnt shy away from who we are and we really need to learn our history. Through community we can generate something, actual action. It’s not that we can’t be excited or happy that we get to see a movie centering us on the big screen or maybe some day in a massive franchise but it’s important to not forget look who’s sitting beside you. We shouldnt let it distract us from both the unapologetic queer dream and the reality of our situation and we should never push anybody else under the bus to be seen.

In my experience volunteering for IMAlive, one common thread that connects people who reach out for help is an overwhelming feeling of hopelessness. It’s this hopeless feeling that there is nothing that you or anyone else can do to change things and that often pushes people to think about killing themselves. But what actually is hope and is there anything we can do to become more or less hopeful?…

I keep seeing the idea that the Supreme Court is un-impeachable and it’s NOT TRUE. Supreme court justices can be impeached, and have. Samuel Chase was impeached in 1809. Abe Fortas resigned rather than be impeached in 1969. Fourteen other federal judges (also lifetime appointments) have also been impeached.

And there is grounds for impeachment for several of them. Lying to the Senate during your confirmation hearing is Federal Perjury. They have comitted public crimes.

Call your congresspeople. Let them know you want these criminals removed from their authority. They are not untouchable.

get ur iuds in now! copper ones can last up to 10 years (they have some less than stelar side effects for a few months, but they often mellow out) and hormonal ones can go for like 4/6 years!

do some research, find what fits! get long term birth control before they take that right away as well!
