Phantom 4 Pro received an improved camera with a larger matrix, capable of recording video in 4K at a speed of 60 frames per second, as well as 14 photos per second in burst mode. The Phantom 4 Pro body, made of titanium and magnesium alloys, is the same weight as the Phantom 4. It's even safer to fly with the FlightAutonomy system, reinforced with new dual optical sensors on the rear of the aircraft and two infrared sensors. Now the drone is able to detect obstacles in 5 directions and avoid collisions in 4.
Camera: 1 inch matrix, 20 Mp resolution The droning camera was significantly redesigned: it received a one-inch CMOS matrix with a resolution of 20 megapixels. The lens consists of eight lenses organized into seven groups. For the first time in a DJI chamber of this size, a mechanical shutter is used, allowing you to shoot dynamic scenes without the "jelly effect". The camera shoots video in 4K at a speed of 60 frames per second and a maximum bitrate of 100 Mbps using the H.264 codec. Selecting a speed of 30 frames per second, you can use the H.265 codec. A large matrix in combination with first-class data processing technology gives even more freedom at the editing stage. Each component of the Phantom 4 Pro camera has been improved: a larger matrix, more resolution, a new image processing system, etc. This is probably the best camera in the Phantom series.

Matrix CMOS The size of the matrix affects the image quality to a greater extent than the number of pixels, because the larger matrix gets more information, as a result, the dynamic range increases, the amount of noise decreases and the camera gets better results in low light conditions. Phantom 4 Pro is equipped with a one-inch CMOS matrix (four times the matrix of Phantom 4) with a resolution of 20 megapixels. The sensor consists of larger pixels and has a maximum sensitivity value of 12800. These characteristics guarantee the production of high-detail color images that retain sufficient information for subsequent processing.
Professional 4K-video Improved image processing engine allows you to shoot video that meets the standards of DCI, with a resolution of 4K / 60 (4096 x 2160) and a bitrate of 100 Mbps, so that the camera can record video with the effect of slow motion. In addition, Phantom 4 Pro supports video codec H.265 (maximum resolution of 4096X2160 / 30 frames / s). Working at the same bitrate, H.265 performs twice as many tasks as H.264, which has a positive effect on visual quality. Video recorded using D-Log has a large dynamic range and a stock of information for editing, which allows you to draw a picture and achieve exactly the color rendering and brightness that you need.
