Facebook kindly reminded me that 2 years ago today I made/finished the very first Wolf Link! That info alone is pretty cool, but is also a lot more impactful than it might seem.

This reminder also tells me that its been 2 years since I let you guys help vote on the amigurumi I’d make next. That it’s been 2 years since I could fit in new Amigurumi I wanted to make - 2 years since having the freedom of timing to do that. 2 years of a very strick work schedule with very little room to breathe.

It wasnt long after Wolf Link that my Queue got longer and longer and eventually out of hand. I barely had time to fit in my goal of the Warcraft Dragons (and doing so nearly burned me out). Which led to the new system for my amigurumi orders, but even 1 year of that turned out to be too much and I still lacked the proper time to fit in new amigurumi that *I* wanted to make. Of the 44 new patterns last year, only 7 of them were non-commissions, but I only managed that thanks to 2 Ko-Fi goals and forcing Pink Week into my queue.

This memory helps reaffirm my recent decision about Amigurumi orders (putting them on hold for a bit), and makes me feel more confident that making things as I feel like it is a really, really good choice right now. The year has just begun, and we still have so much left to discover, but I’m very hopeful for this new plan for my Art and all the things it will unlock ❤

The two of them schemed together. My grandfather’s mistress drove her convertible to the construction site where he was working. As he approached the car, she said, “Why didn’t you tell me you were married?”
