This week I found myself on mommy autopilot. Feed baby, change baby, get baby to sleep, repeat. Long work days and little sleep makes it too easy to rush past the moments that really count. So this weekend I am savoring these little snippets of life with you, little one. I will hold you through your nap, let you tangle your little sticky fingers in my hair, listen to your breathe, feel your heat and I will love every. single. moment. These are the times I will long for when you are grown and I won't let them pass without enjoying them to the absolute fullest! 💗💗💗

My mom status has hit an all time high this year in more ways than one. Welcoming this smelly little mutt to the family hasn't exactly been a walk in the park, but what can I say. I guess I have a soft spot for floppy puppies (that finally learn to pee outside)! And I'm happy to be his dog mom. Welcome to the pack Lando. Today marks the half way point! Just twenty more (large, waddling, can't-fit-into-anything, out-of-breath) weeks to go. Honestly though, I'm loving every moment. There's something about baking that has recently been pulling at my interests. I've never considered myself a baker, more of a cook if anything . In fact, I never felt proficient enough at baking to do it often. Accurately measuring ingredients, perfect temperatures. It seems so fragile and delicate. Nonetheless the shift in interest is enjoyable. And I find the process of mixing together monochromes quite beautiful 🙌🏼
