ATTENTION BLIND CHANNEL FANS

Our beloved boys from Oulu has gone on hiatus, but that doesn’t mean the writers and artists of the fandom have to! Our love for Joel, Joonas, Niko, Olli, Aleksi, and Tommi is eternal - and so is my hatred of Christmas. 😤 And so I’m happy to announce that

BC BLOOD MASS WILL RETURN IN DECEMBER 2024! 🐺🐺🐺🐺

If you’re not familiar with our annual event: basically, it came to my attention that there’s actually a lot of people in the fandom like me, who don’t celebrate Christmas. Either because they practice a different religion, or because they have trauma surrounding the holiday. I realized, I wasn’t the only person dreading the usual influx of Christmas themed fanfic and fanart coming in December.

And so I created an anti-Christmas event. In 2022, you guys created some spooky vampire AUs. In 2023, we celebrated an unholy night of demon AUs. And this year, I put it to a public vote, and the results are in.

Our 2024 theme is WEREWOLF AU!!! 🐺🐺🐺

All works MUST be submitted to the official AO3 collection by December 24th, 2024.

The collection will be revealed on December 25th, 2024!

All pairings are welcome, including both M/M and reader-inserts!

While this event is primarily for fanfic writers, fan artists and edit-makers are also invited and encouraged to participate!

NSFW content is allowed!

All fics created for this event must be Werewolf AUs. Other supernatural creatures (such as vampires) can play a role in your story, but a least ONE main character MUST be a werewolf.

Including characters from other bands (Lost Society, RBFH, etc) is allowed but at least one main character MUST be member of Blind Channel!

Christmas, or any celebrations thereof, MUST NOT play a major role in your creation for this event.

Niko, who lost his father at the age of ten, and had been spiraling out of control since than is sent at age fifteen to a catholic boarding school?

I posted it as one long chapter but I did divide it into chapters but just to tired to post different chapters (sorry). Be warned -heavy themes - abuse alcohol, drugs, mental, fysical this to them being underaged and the abusers adults. I understand they need a break and they deserve it. I hope they will come back to us soon. Absence makes the heart go yonder. Without them, I wouldn't be in this tumblr crazy brainworm shared fandom that I adore. (I won't leave -- you guys are stuck with me now) Without that, I would have never started writing again. (not planning on stopping to share my crazy stories with the world) Without them, I wouldn't have taken the steps towards my own health. (the hardest thing I ever did was to ask help.) Without them, I never would have found the courage to go to concerts. Blind Channel changed my life. Right now, I'm fucking devestated - Damn, damn, damn. It feels like a part of my soul has been ripped out. Blind Channels means more to me than I will ever admit. I hope that we get some instagram/x/tiktok mayhem from them anyway that they won't just dissapear from the public eye completely.

I plan to do another Blind Channel Advents Calendar. Last year's one was really well-received and a lot of fun. But I am thinking of expending this year's calendar to also include fan works for Electric Callboy and Lost Society. Of course only if anyone is interested and willing to create something for one or multiple fandoms😅. I think I will manage to write at least one story for Blind Channel and maybe one for Electric Callboy, but definitively nothing for Lost Society. I am not into their music, but I know a lot of my friends are part of the fandom and I want them to have something for the December days too. But of course, I can only expand the calendar to include other fandoms if people are actually interested in it and are willing to create something for it (all kinds of fan works are welcome! Fan art, fan stories, mood boards, edits... the list goes on and on.)

So long story short:

Would anyone be interested in a Blind Channel/Electric Callboy/Lost Society Advent calendar (thinking of calling it Bandom Advent Calendar) and willing to create something for it?

Niko, an alpha, living in a town where no alpha leaves alive is adjusted to living amongst omega's, beta's and humans. Only a few know his secret. And then the new kid in town Aleksi, messes everything up. Despite it all, Niko feels a deep connection, a deep desire for Aleksi.

After the death of his parents, Niko meets up with the man who gave to order to murder them. It’s time to let Joonas Porko pay for his crimes.

Niko had always been a typical nerd, a geek. He loved being alone, playing music, watching movies ,reading books, gaming and playing his guitar and singing. He had never really gone out to bars or clubs. He never had any dates, aside from the dates his mother had arranged. Damn, those women were as boring as his job. He got it, his mother wanted him to get married, and give her grandkids. The whole wife, house, tree, dog and kids story.

So the fact that he was an accountant for the most notorious bar with on the first floor a stripclub and in the cellar a sm sex dungeon was nothing less than irony.

Fairies are beautiful and once they reach their adult age they can unfold their wings. Fairies' wings are colourful, like every shade en colour of the rainbow, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet even with gold and silver tones. Some even have sparks and glitter and other decorations, tales and cutouts, nice wavy forms. Perfectly symmetric patterns.

And then there's Aleksi. A fairy with dark wings that has all these shades of indigo, ebony, charcoal, onyx, jet, licorice, different greys and all shades of darkness.

The fairy queen orders to cut them off, the darkness having no place in their world. And Aleksi, runs towards the forbidden portal, connecting their world to the, for him fascinating, human world.

Finally, Niko has everything he ever could dream of.

Niko decides one day to rob a carriage, carrying the royal emblem and ends up saving the prince. The prince rewards him with a noble title: Count Moilanen and a luxery life in the castle. Life in the castle brings his own challanges, Manoeuvring between the snakes and scorpions that call themselves nobles.

So Niko can't shed his alter ego, the thief the Red Fox. Luckily he gets help from an old friend but also from some unexpected friends.

Niko is a rough, bold and well-feared pirate captain, known as Greenblood, of the Black Wolf.

Aleksi is a privilaged rich boy, the son of the well known captain Kaunisvesi, of the fleet of the North-East trading company, who under the wings of his father takes his first job. But not all is what it seems.

The parents of Aleksi, a very rich boy, hire a personal assistant after his last night out in town is on the cover of the newspaper of the next morning.

A neighbouring pack hires Niko’s pack to eliminate a sorcerer, Olli. But something is not right, and Niko takes another decision, leading him and his back into an adventure he could not have foreseen.

Niko and Olli are celebrating their first christmas together, and their anniverary, meeting the night before Christmas, just one year ago.

Aleksi, to his own surprise had made it to the final five and is now standing in front of his favourite porn actor, the reknowned Mr. Niko Molanen a former model who build an empire, auditioning for a new movie: behind the scenes.

It turned out to be another "short" story - oops.

Tommi inherited an old home. His best friend, Olli, needs a place to stay after his breakup. Even with all the extra help, Tommi is barely scraping by and looking for a tendant. The best candidate, Aleksi and his best friend Olli, however, don't like each other and Tommi senses that there's more behind it than meets the eye.
