NANCY WHEELER DETAIL OF THE DAY #1

Today we’re looking at earrings! I love Nancy’s earrings

Her longest serving earrings are the gold heart ones, which she has worn from Season 1 Episode 2 right up until the very last episode of Season 4 (i couldn’t get a good enough shot of them, so here’s ep 3 instead)

In Season 2 she gets a lil creative with her choices with butterfly, ribbon and star earrings. It is damn near impossible to find a good photo of the stars.

In Season 3 she never changes her earrings, these silver ones.

At Pennhurst, she matched her earrings to her outfit

She’s only ever worn hoops once, at the Snow Ball

And only ever worn dangly earrings in the Season 4 epilogue

Furthermore, Natalia has a double piercing! You can often see it despite them refusing to let Nancy ever wear two at once

I know some people think Robin acts different (more awkward or ‘dumb’) in season 4 because she’s a ‘bad actress’ but these people need to shut up because this change was intentional!!

For the majority of season 3 Robin is working with Steve and probably felt slightly like she has to one up him because he used to be popular yk, hence the white board and treating him like he’s kind of below her or a child (not in a mean kinda way yk? More like in the way someone would act to impress someone without them knowing- maybe acting that way to seem more mature) she is clearly masking her true personality-awkward and immature-

But after coming out to Steve she probably felt a huge weight lifted from her and than over the course of time we don’t see (from August or September of 1985 to march of 1986) came out of her shell and is now acting like her normal self around Steve and the other kids. And she no longer feels the need to mask the fact she’s a nerd and in band anymore because she noticed none of that affected her and Steve’s friendship- it’s actually really sweet character development that isn’t talked about much because it’s mistaken for the actress’s or writers fault.

is it just me, or do the outfits theyre wearing in that new ronance photo leak look kinda similar to the outfits they were wearing at the end of szn 4?

like obviously nancy’s pants r different but her shirt kinda looks the similar and i feel like robins outfit almost looks the same as well

and obviously they arent the same exact outfits so that means that now they have a whole new outfit added to the already 2/3 outfits everyones been saw in

its just like idk maybe a bit weird that theyre wearing similar outfits ig is what im saying or not necessarily weird but idk the word a mix of weird and oddly coincidental that the outfits they were spotted in are a bit similar to the outfits they were wearing at the end of szn 4

or atleast they look similar to me 😭

tbh i can’t tell what robins wearing but im p sure nancys outfit is the same one as in this pic
