The man furrowed his brows, no at all familiar with the name he spoke of. His mouth had opened but decided it was best to get his words together first before speaking, so his mouth shut and looked about. His nervous habit kicked in and began to bring his fingers into his sweaty palms. Looking back at the other, he gave a small nod.       ❝ My name is Bilbo. Bilbo Baggins.                    And you are? ❞

Harry turned his head. He saw a short man with curly brown hair and very large feet; he wasn’t wearing any shoes. “You’re in Pivet Drive.” he said. How very odd that this man should be here. 

Judging by his confusion over his whereabouts, he couldn’t have been too familiar with the muggle world. He didn’t look like he belonged either due to his large feet and no shoes. “Who are you by the way?”

Bilbo breath got caught in his throat as he watched the great beat beginning to move, opening the great large eye that seem to pierce into him. His own little eyes widened and soon moved quickly as the coins started to fall.

He didn't hesitate to dive onto the coins, sliding into them but as well as behind a small pile. It was a good advantage that he was tiny. Could hide behind things that many were  not able to. With the noise of the coins he tried his best to get his breath to normal not wanting to give away his rather open spot but a spot nevertheless. The voice echoed loudly, the bass shaking the poor hobbit's body,  only make his beating heart go faster like a hummingbirds wings on a spring day. Even so, he did not speak anything. He was scared, frozen from the fear that boiled inside him. He simply watched from where he was and realized just how big  this creature truly was.

There was no time to process what he had definitely heard as an intruder scurrying about his treasure hoard… The sound was unmistakable, and he - being a fire-breather that guarded well over what was his, viciously so! — Knew when it was merely rats or the legs of some frittering creature with ill-intent!

Rising up slowly, after an initial scan of his burning golden eye — this great dragon from the North ignored the glorious feeling that always happened whenever he rose from his golden bed. Their chilled chunks of metal being the -only- thing with a slightly cold feeling to them that he could bear, and pleasantly so. A voice finally coming to life within his throat, one that had not been used in centuries, it seemed… Groggy from sleeping for so long, it spoke to the intruder that which could not be seen yet, for of course it had hid.     “Who… Oh, who now has come to         take from me?… Do -please- show         yourself to me? I promise I won’t bite                …. Much…..” { revocatexanimos }

You are a WONDERFUL Bilbo, my friend. Hell, I was thinking the -same- thing when I was making my Bilbo account last night... I was like - "Well FCK WHY??? There's already ten million of him. WHY?... Because I fking FELT LIKE IT. THAT'S WHY."

It made him feel guilty to think such a thing. It was a thought that should not have been brought up at all but his mind was too. A nod was given as he walked over to sit near the fire to get some sort of warmth. ❝ I don't like when he does this. ❞ He openely admitted, grabbing a  a stick and poking the fire. Looking at Fili, he shook his head. ❝ We'll all go. Not just you two.    What if something is to happen     to you guys too? ❞

"My uncle won’t abandon his   people, Bilbo.” 

 Of this he is sure: if Thorin is   gone, it is for good reason,   as he has not let them down  before. He puts his trust in  Thorin, and his faith. It is not  a hard deed: he has been   there all their lives, as uncle,   as Thorin, as king. 

"If he does not return - if he   appears to be in trouble - Kíli  and I will go after him.”
