This weekend was epic. Thank you to everyone who sang along & showed love for my creative Ableton Live sets incorporating songwriting, live vocals & some good ole twerking. Twas such an honour to be commissioned by #Resisdance for 'Resis'dance on the Roof' at @dalstonroofpark. - I have so much love for Resis'dance who create empowering tech spaces for self identifying women, queer, trans, intersex & non binary POC folk to engage, perform & learn the art of music tech! All money raised from this event is supporting LAWA (Latin American Women’s Aid) & for the Resis’dance Collective to buy DJ equipment to keep running their DJ workshops & providing support for QPOCs & women to continue learning music tech. (Facebook.com/ResisDanceCollectiveLondon) - LWAW is a dedicated specialist service led by and for Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) women, working together to end violence and enhance empowerment. They run the only refuge for Latin American women, and offer a lifeline to those fleeing domestic violence.
