JCI CEBU (Cebu Jaycees) ‘s
if YOU were MINE. a series of photography sessions exhibiting the beautiful life of the orphan children. Hope for Orphans Campaign.
All kids have its own story.
The objective of the project is that through these photos in a frame that will be posted in their walls is a reminder that in every kids they are all different: and they have thier own stories to inspire and to tell the world.
As well as these photos, its a symbol that life is still beautiful despite and in-spite of everything. There is HOPE FOR ORPHANS.
These kids are all in the orphanage because some of them are abandoned, orphaned and some are abused by their own family so basically they are longing for a family or for some that will adopt them and to call them as their own FAMILY.
Having their photos posted in the wall signifies their beauty, their story and their life as a whole longing for acceptance, care, love and support.
Also a remembrance to those sisters, staffs, caretakers, donors and even visitors who once took good care of them after all these… A joint project together with our sister chapter JCI Bacolod Executive in celebration for the Induction of the incoming president for 2018 Ms. Julie Ann Encabo as well as with the full support of the JCI Tukuran President Mr. Gerald Relator Magumpara 😇

SIX Signs You Should Get Back with your EX.
While I am writing this, I really thought there's a chance for us but when I am almost at the end part, indirectly my ex said "There will never be US again". Shokt! But then its our story, what's yours?
SIX Signs You Should Get Back with your EX. 1. Time — its been a long while.Wound needs time to fully heal. Time is inevitable. Only you or him/her or both can tell if its time. Maybe you two need just this to have some time apart to heal and to search your selves. As you both grow apart and mature on its own. Most of the time, as days goes by you both realize that those fights are petty and…

DATE SOMEONE WHO LOVES YOU MORE
Date someone who loves you more.
Think and believe that he or she must be the one. Imagine that you are building a life with this someone. Let this someone be attached to your family and you to his/her naturally. Consider that he will be the father or that she will be the mother of your future little boys and girls in the next future years.
Date someone who loves you more because he/she will love…

UNAVAILABLE LOVE/
Love is always there. Love is always open. But sometimes to some people it is unavailable and worst there love is the one that is unavailable for anyone for a reason.
Love is ready. Love is mature. Matured by time, experiences, understanding the real meaning of everything there is, matured through love itself. Love is patient. Love is just waiting for the right one. But really sometimes this love…

11 Things to Consider When You Wanted To Date Someone Who Has Been Single For A Long Time

my Honest work made in AFRICA.
This is one of my proud works, and I never imagined on being a storyteller or a content contributor in any kind of book or any material there is but when the opportunity knocks, all you gonna do is grab and let it happen.
Three years ago I was in Benin, West Africa (for a job) when by then my President Butch Mateo in JCI Cebu messaged the whole team in seeking help in writing for the full story…

WHERE IS TRUE LOVE HIDING?
WHERE IS TRUE LOVE HIDING?
Love knows no gender, time, situation or even the location. If its love who declares it, you cannot do anything about it, definitely.
As bes Jolina Magdangal says, ” Pag tumibok ang puso, wala ka nang magagawa kundi sundin ito”
A scene or a venue is very essential in every way, especially if we are talking about LOVE.
You might be probably that someone who does not believe in looking or finding…

FOUR MERITS THAT DEFINE JCI CEBU’S PURPOSEFUL LEADERS
“Purposeful leaders understand that nothing happens until they make it happen.”
JCI Cebu Inc. (aka Cebu Jaycees) is a premier JCI chapter in the Philippines and the 2nd oldest chapter in Asia that has been actively promoting the development of young leaders, entrepreneurs and professionals – training them to become better citizens of the country through projects, movements that aim to create better societies.
JCI CEBU embarks on this year’s theme: PURPOSEFUL LEADERSHIP.
But what exactly creates a purposeful leadership or leaders? What does it take? What makes a purposeful leader?
LEADERSHIP – “Worthy of being followed.”
Someone worthy in the given position. Someone that people look up to. Someone who is worthy of being followed in all good ways possible.
People are hungry for a very good leadership and actually they are all ready to follow someone who have that positive figure and positive change that they are all waiting to happen.
2. CANDOUR – “Able to talk about the good, the bad and the ugly, while leaving dignity in place.”
QUALITY OVER QUANTITY. It’s not how much or more you have talked but its all about what you are talking about, who are you talking to and where are you talking.
“The quality of the conversation is everything. The deeper the conversations taking place in your organization, the healthier your organization will be. You have to confront problems without letting emotions such as anger or malice impedes you.
You have to be the one who sets a tone that stipulates, if there is a problem, we are going to confront it head on and deal with it.
Don’t let problems linger; they never fix themselves. Be strong enough to let people know where they stand, and never take their dignity away in the process. “
STUBBORNNESS – “The unquenchable desire to win.”
Being a natural competitive it is. There’s always the desire to win, to be on top, setting standards; being the standards. Exceeds expectations, no actually you are the “expectation”. No to copy cats. You are just born-to-win attitude.
“You have to want to get up every day with a strong desire to win, to excel, to do your best. You are the only person who can do this; no one else can motivate you. You are the one who must make the decision to be the leader.
TIPS:
“As a motivated leader, you need to align yourself with other people who are motivated. Don’t waste your time with lazy or apathetic people. You can only reward motivated people. Don’t get me wrong: you have to find the “right seat on the bus” to truly maximize people’s motivation. But you simply can’t motivate an unmotivated person.
Make sure you are motivated and that you spend your time with other motivated people. When you do this, a lot of good things will start to happen. ”
4. EXECUTION – “Take a plan and put wheels on it.”
Every good plan will only be a plan if there are no actions or possible executions to happen. There are a lot of idealists in the world, they complain on a lot of things some don’t do anything about it and some do but then again execution is very crucial in every plans, projects and /or ideas.
Tips:
“Don’t hold “theory” meetings; make sure people are walking away with call-to-action tasks and that they report measureable results.”
“Make sure the execution of the plan is simple, straightforward and clear. People will act on a task they understand and that is easy to do or accomplish.”
These “four merits” are based on what the writer believes and witnessed on being part of the organization for about 4 years already. These merits begin and end with leadership.
To be an effective leader you have to definitely commit to being a LEADER, first and always no matter; wherever and whenever remember that leaders lead.
They assume risks, provide hope (even you are actually feels there’s none), and leaders provide a very clear perspective in a very unclear path or road to those whom they lead.
A great quote says: “It takes a very steady hand to hold a full cup.”
As front liners, remember that you are holding many full cups, and we have to make sure that our hands are steady, stable and solid.

(-11) NEGATIVE EFFECTS OF BEING INLOVE
Love is definitely not a drug, but most if not all would agree to me that it can certainly feel like one.
Love in fact overflow s our brainpower with so much chemicals that can create feelings like from pleasure to intense focus and attachments.
“These chemicals can cause reactions throughout the body, which might help explain that tingly-all-over feeling we get when we see a loved one, or the…

THE SO-CALLED ORGASMIC YEAR
This is the 69th founding year of JCI CEBU INC., the oldest chapter in the region and the second oldest chapter in the Philippines. This is a memorable and a very iconic year for the chapter since there were a lot of changes and improvements for the betterment of the whole chapter.
69 is a symbolic number. Orgasmic. It makes all the members feel more than awesome of being part of such organization and the chapter as a whole.
INDUCTION AND TURN OVER CEREMONY: HISTORIC VENUE
The 69th President of JCI CEBU INC.’s Ian Anthony Osmena will take oath together with his Officers and Board of Directors this coming February 18, 2017, 6pm at the historic Fort San Pedro located in A. Pigafetta Street, Cebu City.
“Fuerte de San Pedro is a military defence structure in Cebu, built by the Spanish under the command of Miguel López de Legazpi, first governor of the Captaincy General of the Philippines”
They are expecting around 200 people from different parts of the Philippines as well as some of the members from their sister – chapter from Malaysia will be coming in and witnessing the oath taking and celebration of the said – orgasmic year induction.
MEMBERS GROWTH IN NUMBERS : CURRENTLY IN CATEGORY 2
Like most powerful and strong organizations there is; quantity and quality members are one of the many factors that affect the growth of the organization.
Proudly, after how many years before the previous year ends they marked the category 2 hitting the 51 strong and active members.
Kenneth Kabingue made huge sacrifices like any presidents would do. He did a lot of remarkable strategic moves, long lasting impression and of course once in a lifetime lessons to its members, colleagues and even member’s families and lovelife.
He made the chapter proud of himself again.
BEST ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE TO DATE.
The concept, guidance and idea was actually started its small steps with the Presidency of Kabingue but it was being implemented fully on the current 69th Administration of Osmena.
It is structured as shown below. The system is more organized and more vivid on who is the right person and what tasked or responsibilities he must obtain by the end of the “1 year to lead” concept.

5 STRONG VICE PRESIDENTS
In any organization should be, growth of a member is one of the important factors to consider. From a new recruit, to a baby jaycee, you will be inducted as new member, by then you will officially given a directorship as your first post then if you are capable and willing you will be put to a vice president position. But as they always say, every member should aspire of becoming a chapter president soon but not obliged to.
This year, they have 5 aspiring presidents in the next few years as positioned as vice presidents with one focused team and 2-3 directors to assist. This is established as it is, after all the organization is composed of young leaders and young entrepreneurs.
CURRENT PROJECTS ARE NATIONALLY KNOWN: LIGHT UP CEBU AND HONESTY PROJECT: THE HONEST JUAN
Light Up Cebu will be launched this year as a national project that will be implemented all over the country with outstanding partners and collaborations.
The Honest Juan Coloring book was recognized for several award giving body under the JCI flagship about its serious cause and objectives. This is on its third year now running starting from the 67th President Butch Mateo as his mother project in his term.
