I'm going to be predictable and say ZootxLips/Private Jam Session for the OTP thing!

All right! Let’s do this thing! Warning: the first two answers might be known to cause a lot of sad feelings.

Who made the first move: Hard to say. Both are really quiet guys and don’t really publicly do the emotions thing. I have a feeling that back when Lips first joined the band, it would’ve taken some time for them to warm up to each other and eventually become best friends (which they would still be during the time they’re dating, because yes, you can date your best friend). However, I do see Lips as being slightly more observant than Zoot is. A little, but not much. And sometimes it doesn’t always work. (See also: Why Lips Doesn’t Like Doors.) If anything, Lips would be the first one to realize that he has deeper feelings for Zoot and would work on those from there. (Whether the realization involves Christmas at Ma Bear’s house and eggnog, however, is a different story.) This would all eventually build up to…

Who said ‘I love you’ first: Lips. It was a bit of a bittersweet moment in the grand scheme of things because, when he did confess to Zoot, Zoot didn’t really feel the same way. Especially since Zoot’s not much of an emotionally-expressive guy to begin with and a bit of a burn-out, relationships were more of a “been there, done that” thing for him. Plus, he probably thought Lips wasn’t really being that serious when he did confess for a number of reasons. One being Zoot’s age. And then Lips backed off after Zoot’s response and… well, that’s one of the reasons I see Lips going AWOL from the Muppets and traveling a while “to clear his head”. And of course, no matter what the note Lips left behind said, Zoot would feel responsible that Lips was gone… I told you this had a lot of feelings.

How often they fight: Not much, I don’t think. If it was before they had a strong friendship bond, maybe, but not really. However, this would change once Lips comes back from traveling and rejoins the band. Zoot and Lips would feel awkward around each other, with Lips realizing that he’s still in love with Zoot and avoiding sleeping in their shared room and Zoot trying to figure out what the heck is going on and why he’s feeling all weird around Lips all of a sudden. Keep in mind, Zoot probably still thinks that he’s the reason Lips left, so he’d be hurt, but he wouldn’t bring it up with the rest of the band. So it’d be on and off around each other until they finally get even the slightest clue that hey, maybe they’re into each other more than they think. Which would lead to a moment and the relationship actually starting to take a more romantic turn and…Wait, that’s not the question. Um, not much, if at all.

Whose big spoon/little spoon: Depends, although I can see Zoot using Lips’ head as a pillow. (All that floof looks comfortable.)

What their nicknames are for each other: Zoot and Lips are already nickname-y enough. The only other thing I could really see either of them calling each other would be Lips calling Zoot “Sleepyhead”, but let’s face it, he probably already called Zoot that before then because this is Zoot we’re talking about.

Whose the better cook: ………. I do not know. Can either of them really cook?

Their song: Probably any song where they can really jam together. Otherwise, I don’t know.

Who remembers their anniversaries: Poor Zoot’s so burned out, but he’d at least try to remember. Lips, in general, would be better remembering stuff about the two, but he probably wouldn’t speak up about anything unless he felt it was necessary to.

Their favorite thing to do together (besides sex): Hahaaaaaaaaa. Well, they’re musicians. They like to jam and make out—I mean, make music together. What do you expect?Though I can also see them valuing their time alone together a lot, having little moments where they can be heart to heart (either verbally or just in silence) with no one else there to care.

Who ‘wears the pants’ in the relationship: I cannot answer this question seriously. Why? The Great Muppet Caper, this bit:

Fozzie: [going over a checklist] Wax lips?Zoot: Aw man, I just had ‘em.Dr. Teeth: Did you leave ‘em in your other pants?Zoot: I don’t have no other pants.

Next question.

How they would get engaged: … um… I have no idea. Maybe a better question would be “When are Floyd and Janice getting engaged?” Let that be the thing before they even start thinking about it.

What their wedding would be like: If they ever did, they’d probably want something small and/or private. Maybe something tied to Zoot’s Jewish heritage. But let’s face it, combining those with the Muppets is just gonna go all out of the water. I really don’t know. They’re not even ready to even start thinking about that, man…

How many kids they’ll have: Well, the Muppets and the rest of the Electric Mayhem are already family to them. They’ve got enough to deal with without taking care of a kid. But… if it were up to me, maybe they’d consider adopting a kid. Again, I don’t know.
