went back to the writing space and wrote 10 pages, only 3 of which will make it past “editing me”, listened to fine line the whole time and drank far, far too many cups of coffee.

November 22nd, 2019
Here’s a few photos I took yesterday. The weather was so good even though it was -20 degrees 😊 (winter is finally here!) On Wednesday I had only 2 classes so I decided to go on a little shopping trip (bought a new pair of jeans and a book - The Virtue of Selfishness by Ayn Rand) I’m really enjoying the abundance of free time that i have these days 💛

some on-campus snaps :) it’s only my second day on campus and I’m falling in love with it more and more as the first day of quarter approaches. I know it’ll probably eventually wear off, but as for now I just feel lucky to be here. I’m far away from home, but exploring new grounds has never felt more exciting.

Here’s the companion to my yoga tracker: my meditation log! 💜✨
I have heard for so many years that meditation can help with anxiety and panic attacks. A month ago I challenged myself to a 7-day meditation challenge and I enjoyed it so much that I’ve been meditating regularly. I just circle the dates I meditate, and journal about my experience afterword.
Do you meditate? I think the most important thing to keep in mind is that it is -your- practice and if you’re able to relax and zone out right away that’s great, but if you’re bored or unable to focus, that’s fine, too. It’s literally a practice, and with consistent practice you’ll hone the skills to experience a deep meditation and reap the benefits of it.
Have patience with yourself. 💖
