I feel like folks aren’t realizing why he “lied” about the college… he’s still in the mindset that he had to take care of his mom, Will and Jane. He thinks he can’t go out and live his life away from them. With Hopper being back he can do that. But he also needs to talk to his mom… TALK to Nancy… let her know his worries. He loves her deeply. He loves her so much but he doesn’t want to hold her back ever.

Nancy loves Jonathan deeply, it’s why she kept trying to let Steve down (but kept being interrupted) she doesn’t love Steve like that. At all. But I think she wants them all to be friends, she wants Jonathan and Steve to be friends. And I think when she hears Jonathan’s worries about the future and how he feels (it’ll contrast Steve’s weird “I have it all planned” speech) she’ll fall even more in love with Jonathan because he was willing to sacrifice his own happiness for his family and for her.

He won’t have to. I think that Nancy will decide she doesn’t want to go to college, mainly due to what Natalia said she hoped would happen with Nancy and that. And I think her and Jonathan will stay together sort of going around investigating all the shit that has come out of the UD.

Obviously I don’t know what they’ll do with them, he may decide to ho to college with her once he realizes he can be happy and live his life with Nancy.

But folks need to stop getting it all twisted.

Jancy is endgame.

I’ve seen a lot of hate towards JJ in the criminal minds tag. So let me start my discourse with you are right. Her marriage to Will has been a gorgeous gift over the years. I’m not gonna argue with the fact that that’s true.

What’s not true is this shouldnt diminish anything. It doesnt diminish her friendship with Reid. It doesnt diminish what her relationship has grown into.

Love is complicated. Especially when you spend the time together that they do. Go through the shit they go through. It was a high tension moment. Something she wouldn’t have otherwise admitted. But a truth. You can love someone. I mean love them, always keep them on your radar, want to be as close to them as possible even if there are other things holding you back. And you can do that while you love someone else without that diminishing your love for either of them.

The actors, the writers this isnt something they threw from left field. This is something that they realized was sitting in the background and if they played it right it could be good. It could build JJ and Reid stronger.

I feel for JJ. She is living my actual fear. Reid wasnt ready for her to confess in season 1 and she saw that. She had no way to know how he would grow. So she took a chance on Will and shes been with him ever since. She loves him. But she still loves Reid. Doomed to know there is no way for her to Express that without ruining what she has and what she has built. That’s a hard role to live in.

She was asked point blank to say something she’d never say, not even to Reid. And she delivered. Because there is nothing in JJs life that Reid doesnt know other than that.

This isnt some stain upon Criminal Minds. This is just another layer to show they understand how complex people and love truly can be

Criminal Minds s15 Spoiler

Ok but the fact that Spencer probably really did close himself off from dating and trying to find love in hopes that he would eventually have a relationship with JJ makes my heart ache and makes me actually really wish that they could’ve had a life together. I hadn’t been a fan of Jeid while I was catching up on Criminal Minds and when I spoiled the ending of s14 for myself, but the premiere of s15– while I initially found it great how they’ve chosen to handle the situation (allowing it to have been real and them to have closure and move on with out sweeping it under the table etc.)- has me thinking about it again.

From the start of the show I would have found Jeid so lovely but they just brushed it off like it was nothing and I left it alone and in the past. Honestly, as I got further into the show, I would’ve rather seen Penelope and Derek become a thing than them. Now I’m just feeling that was no reason for Spence and JJ to wait this long and miss their opportunity and it’s so sad that it has to be a missed opportunity when they’ve basically loved each other for FIFTEEN YEARS. I had wanted them to be able to move on from this at first, but after seeing a little bit into how they both feel, it’s going to be painful to have to watch them have to move on.

And I guess it wasn’t really as sudden as it had seemed. I had noticed their friendship dynamic change a bit to the point where it felt that JJ cared about him in a way that she couldn’t care about anyone else on the team. And I honestly wished that she and Will had never gotten married bc then I don’t think I’d be so resistant of wanting to see Jeid together, now that I could’ve potentially really shipped them. I have nothing against Will but when they started dating I remember wanting it so badly to end. They had like no chemistry and I couldn’t see what she saw in him loll. In my opinion it’s almost as if the writers didn’t want us to like him too much. And now that I’m at the point where my heart hurts for Jeid, I feel like I would’ve really wanted them to get together if she weren’t married. But she is and that is so complicated on its own.

So I don’t see how CM can take any path other than them having to move on. So even now that I wouldn’t be opposed to Jeid, I still can’t truly ship, and watching Spencer forcing himself to move on is going to wreck my heart, but this could be good for him. He could finally allow himself to love again? And as bittersweet as it feels, we might end up with him being so unbelievably beyond happy with someone else that it’s all worth it and he has no regrets and it’s the life that he was fated for. I, personally, deserve to see that no matter what the outcome is in this show, Reid finds himself truly and deeply happy and that he wouldn’t change a thing.
