The music we used for our project. The reason I used this song is because it gives me the whole deep space / underwater feeling. I also love the fact that it has no voice in it.

I also added an equalizer using After Effects. I personally love it like this.
These are the settings I used.

After putting everything together in Adobe Premiere Pro I added a bass effect on the encoded video using Adobe After Effects. I used a YouTube tutorial to learn all about it. Now I love After Effects A LOT as well. Sorry, Blender.

Behind scenes. I just realized I did not save the version where the zombie was still in the scene on my USB. Sorry guys. Better with less spoilers anyway. I tried really hard to add the black ink coming out of the zombie’s mouth, but not even the Alienware CPUs from Uni could help me render everything together so I had to remove it. Mixamo falling animation.

Behind the scenes. Again, using Mixamo and changes rigs. The scene is self explanatory.

So we initially wanted to make a giant Kraken to fight him. But it was so hard to make that we decided we do not have enough time to do it. Such a waste though, Soulr worked hard on our concept art for it. Anyway, so we used a underwater zombie instead. Pretty scary still, right? The idea behind the scene is the underwater zombie waking up, hearing our interloper’s presence.

We tried to do another reflection on the helmet underwater, but for some reason the rendering went extremely bad, giving us only a couple of frames. Maybe too much detail?

The turning around scene. Our dude feels a second presence. Again, used Mixamo rigs for this animation

I made and animated underwater particles to make everything look more underwater. Even though the particles made the rendering slower and rendered weirdly. Teleporting for some reason. I’ll have to investigate the reason though.

The underwater scene. I made the underwater scene in collaboration with Jomir. It took a hole day. It’s mostly sculpting and nodes.

Using rigs from Mixamo for float animation. I’m impressed. I still had to make some changes to his stance. I don’t want to give out the story just like that, but no, the astronaut did not get sucked into the Black Hole (or did he? Do you like that idea?), he actually woke up from Hypoxia due to drowning after (probably) he crashed from space. During Hypoxia people tend to dream of something relaxing, and it’s because of the shock that he woke up back.

I just discovered www.mixamo.com and now I am both relieved and shocked I did not know about this website before. Oh my god, the time I could have saved.

Representation of the black hole gravity pulling in. Using keyframes I added rotation, movement and changed scaling as soon as they got too close to the black hole.
