Fran Foofaraw

Lately i have been interested in the character as she does not appear in-game (if we do not count CAS default design) yet she does appear in the guide, cutscenes and many promo material

She also appears with her original TS design in some prerelease screenshots from bustin' out

So i looked more into the promo material. As the postergal of course she has the most renders of all (probably Mona Lott as well). She is known to be the main character when first loading bustin' out, yet i do not think that was always intended to be the case.

A PlayStation magazine ad has a description of her character which i have not seen before.

For people who cannot see the image because of bad internet or whatever it says the following: "Fran Foofaraw lets it all hang out at Pixel Acres. Play your cards right and you'll be seeing more of her. A lot more"

(Also, Goldie Toane was actually blonde instead of brunette/Black?)

SO. What this whole thing implies is that she was supposed to show up at Pixel Acres as a nudist. Right now i am just saying what the description just said. This honestly just sounds like the "Worst week in the life of a sim" series. Specifically the friday episode where she goes to Pixel Acres. The 5 shorts show Fran/Pat whatever you call her live through different events like burning to death on monday, assaulting Humphrey on Thursday etc.

I am not sure if Fran was ever planned as a real character as she is shown to be the main character in all of the shorts. But she has that Playstation advert description for some reason.

The Simswiki also put in Frans bio that she might have been Bling Bling's girlfriend due to them being together in renders and the intro.

There is also Nora Zeal-Ott from the GBA version who is just Frans model with a different name. Apparently according to her Simswiki trivia she has a twinsister called Anne. So yeah thats... info. I wonder what other simmers think what Fran was though, This is the first time i ever talk about something sims related after keeping it in for 15 years. Was she always just MC-Sim or integrated in the story?

Yeah that's it with my internal thoughts.

But yes, hi, hello. I'm a real German, human being and since my one friend, who keeps hearing my ramblings about all Sims 1, 2 and 3 games, stopped talking, I decided to.... Move here. The Sims have been haunting me ever since my old childhood days. I love all the sims games! Especially the Urbz, Bustin' Out and 2! I really enjoy the individual characters that were established in the first 3 games! 4 exists. Sometimes I wish it didn-

I also love collecting figurines and just. Existing I guess. I play many roleplaying games too! And just misc. games as well.
