Welcome to Our Young Cathy, a tumblr entirely dedicated to the unique singer-songwriter and dancer Kate Bush through her young years. I hope you will spend a nice time with our queen of the Wuthering Heights! [Hello, my name is Meryl and I’m French. I love Kate Bush, with a preference for her 1978-1982 albums (plus her early demos). I’m always happy when I receive messages, so if you have anything to ask, please don’t be shy! See you~]

Why did you have to choose our moment? Why did you have to make me feel that? Why did you make it so unreal?

Note
where is that quote from u posted where kate says she feels she is an artist trapped in a womans body?? thanks!!
It is from a paper interview Kate did in 1982. A slightly edited version of it is still up on Gaffaweb. Kate’s public image and struggle with fame were two of her most heavily discussed subjects at the time of The Dreaming’s release.
