I don't get the obsession some people have with trying to say how "keeping illegals out" or "repatriating people that are already here" is un-Christian. Okay most people saying that stuff are not Christians to begin with, so of course they won't understand.
Allowing illegals to come in and stay in, and letting them cause harm to working-class labour positions, to victims of their crimes and to people who become homeless due to housing shortages caused in part by illegals (along with many other causes), is very un-Christian (and just plain unethical) as well!
Not to forget welcoming the stranger.. Who would Jesus deport?
There is nothing morally wrong with wanting to ensure the safety of a country. It would be wrong if we never welcomed strangers, but that isn’t true.
What we want is for the strangers to be vetted and welcomed legally into the country, so we don’t risk human/drug traffickers and other criminals slipping in undetected with the rest of them.
#We are supposed to protect our fellow humans and that sometimes means keeping people outside when the wish us harm#and that includes people who might not wish us physical harm but are willing to violate the law to come here#if you violate the law in that way I don't trust you to uphold it in other ways#its a legitimate reason to fear you're a threat to my safety!

In 2015 or so everyone was shocked and outraged at islamic state destroying immense amounts of artifacts and ruins from the mesopotamian period because they were islamic supremacist peices of shit. And as soon as they were defeated people started going back to demanding our museums “give back” all the “stolen”’ artifacts to the middle-east.
I know we all joke and break balls about the UK museums stealing artifacts but I'd much rather have artifacts in a safe place rather than leaving them in a war torn/corrupt hellhole where they'll either get blown to bits or the museum they're stored in burns down due to corruption and general inaction to protect them
#what right do modern arabs even have to the artifacts created by old mesopotamians who were completely different people?#like even if we concede that the artifacts were stolen#they were stolen from people long dead

I think it's also important to understand that CRT is a form of analysis. It analyses power relations based on race. Lots of opponents and lots of proponents have no clue what CRT actually is. It's merely a tool, and teaching kids that tool isn't (always) bad. What's bad is when it is taught like they taught it at my university classes: "we used CRT to analyse society and came to these conclusions, please accept these conclusions as facts". When CRT is actually a very subjective method of analysis that isn't supposed to produce rational, empirical facts but rather more constructionist and relativist interpretations of a reality that is not singular and objective in nature.
But shoveling a certain outcome of CRT analysis and shoving it as objective fact (which btw defeats the very purpose of critical theory, which is to be critical of the "truth" that the powerful elite tell you). That's the part of CRT that everybody has issues with and it got rightfully demonized, but the backlash grew so big that it started encompassing things like actually teaching CRT to kids/students (which if applied correctly can be used to analyse how in some cases POC's are privileged and White people are disadvantaged), and just lessons about racism in general.
I’ll probably get flamed for this, but a lot of parents don’t actually know what “critical race theory” is. There’s a difference between a bunch of white students being ridiculed and taught that they’re forever going to be racist monsters just for being white and a teacher merely…teaching that racism, as a mere concept, is a thing that exists, or even the teacher teaching students basic empathy such as, “Don’t be mean to other kids who look and/or sound different.”
For example, I heard about a school district where one school’s fifth grade class was reading a book about a black boy going to an almost all-white school and trying to adjust to the culture shock. The kid makes friends and ultimately succeeds in his classes, but he also finds it hard to fit in and experiences micro-aggressions from other kids and some of the teachers. The book also doesn’t teach white kids that they’re “evil.” There’s a part where the main character goes to see some of his black friends from his old school, and when he corrects their grammar, they start making fun of him for not talking like them anymore. It shows that biases and prejudice can come from many directions, even from unexpected places.
Anyways, a third grade mom found out about the book and caused this huge uproar to have it banned for “promoting critical race theory,” and the talk the author was supposed to have with the students at the school was also cancelled. Apparently, the mom didn’t even read the book herself; she just vaguely heard what the book was about and decided to be angry. Meanwhile, when questioned about the controversy, the author said, “I don’t even know what critical race theory is.” The book was actually based on experiences the author had growing up, and it was meant to teach kids about how to look at a situation from someone else’s point of view and consider how they themselves should approach the situation. But because the book was written by a black man and touched on racism as a topic, it got branded as some malicious indoctrination tool and was swiftly snuffed out from school libraries.
I’m just at a point to where I don’t know what people want. Yes, critical race theory is bad, but that doesn’t mean we need to shield kids from every single reference to racism or act like teaching kids to practice empathy towards people who are different is inherently evil. Another thing to consider is that parents jumping the gun to have milder books banned will make it harder for other parents to raise concerns about more serious books, because people will start going, “Oh, these book bans are always for stupid reasons! We’re not taking this seriously!”

Spot on. Here in the UK it's just the way you put it. There are liberal or leftist professors who only teach at university to indoctrinate young adults into their worldviews, and there are liberal or leftist students who feel so entitled to being pampered and catered to, that they will "cancel" any course or professor who doesn't share their worldview. This is one of the many dangers of cancel culture. Funny thing is that while these libs and leftists loudly yell diversity, they are constantly working towards destroying all the diversity that has any actual value: diversity of thoughts.
After hearing stories from two of my brothers who have been to college over the last five or so years, I’ve come to the conclusion that the whole “kids go to college to be indoctrinated by leftist professors” is only half true. Sure, you have leftist professors pushing their ideology onto their students without allowing room for dialogue or disagreement, but the other side of this is that a lot of conservative and moderate professors are actually kind of forced to keep their mouths shut, largely because colleges tend to enable the liberal and leftist college students who throw tantrums and demand that any professor, speaker, or guest who espouses right-leaning views be banned from campus.
One of my brothers is an economics major, and he’s spoken to multiple professors now who don’t agree with leftist ideas on economics, but they have to be very vague with their teaching at the risk of losing their jobs, not because the curriculum itself demands socialism be pushed, but rather because students will complain if their little communist fantasies aren’t catered to at every breath. Since colleges don’t want to lose money, the guys at the top feel compelled to bow to pressure. “The customer is always right!” and all of that.
A lot of the time, it isn’t that kids are learning to be leftists in college, but rather that they’ve caught the “leftist bug” and then proceed to fight tooth and nail to make sure everything they learn in college revolves around their extremely closed worldview. Colleges do these students a disservice in bowing to their demands instead of allowing professors to, you know, actually educate and challenge their students, but that would require treating college students like grown and mature adults instead of little children whose mommies will cause an uproar because Little Billy feels unsafe at school.

Today - Children will have a chance at life like the rest of us
To all my brothers and sisters in Christ who’re also pro-life, please keep pregnancy centers and pro-life organizations in your prayers as violence breaks out over the overturning of Roe v. Wade.
Pregnancy centers providing care for mothers have been firebombed leading up to this. Churches of Christians and Catholics have been threatened with gun violence in response to today’s victory. But we will not back down from providing access to affordable care for new mothers and new families that need assistance. We won’t stop until every family has access to the support they need to raise their children.
All glory be to God almighty who fearfully and wonderfully made us in His image.

I think you worded this perfectly. Couples can determine for themselves what is the best!
do you think women belong to their husband
Thank you for your question!
It is a complicated one though, because I think that everyone should exercise their marriage in the way they wish to. As long as both sides agree on it, and it's not hurting anyone, it's up to the happy couple themselves.
Personally, I do enjoy the thought of a more traditional marriage but I'd discuss it with my future husband and make sure we both find a balance that fits us both.

"Consent to sex is not consent to pregnancy" is literally one of the dumbest pro-abort arguments. Imagine being so divorced from any kind of accountability to think that cause and effect just don't exist.

Toddlers are so pure. She doesn’t understand that we help her with certain things because she’s little. She thinks that everyone just helps each other like that. So she tries to blow on my food and cut it up for me and tries to help me put on my shoes.

"But people shouldn't be forced to be pregnant against their will!"
Rape is already illegal.
"But I want to be able to have sex without getting pregnant!"
Well I want to eat 500 cookies without getting sick, but the human body doesn't work that way. Sex is not a right; you will live.
