im just laughing at this parallel, knowing that this will be the ONLY time production will ever expose h8ful/nasty 9ine before they go right back into giving them "goofy and relatable" edits when this all blows over. they're only using bella as a scapegoat to show her bad side but won't do it for the others because they'll have to admit they casted a HOUSE full of racist bullies

Can someone please remind this rat bastard how he treated Dominique and tell him he wouldn't do SHIT in the house for Kemi except join H8ful and give them ideas of how to bully her?

But David And Ovi? They don’t like Kemi either. No one but Nicole does.
Look, I’m not really the right person to like,,, say it or anything but there could be a few reasons for this:
First, not everyone but Nicole didn’t like Kemi. (Formerly) Bella did until she was exposed by Kemi, and Jess liked her too. She also got on with Ovi a bit enough for him to want to save her and Sam worked hard to save her once. So jot that down.
I don’t think most people HATE her like they claim to. I think most of it is tribal mentality. The perceived leaders establish the “in-group” and then establish norms. People have said many times they don’t hate Kemi (individually) but when they’re all in a group the “leaders” start bashing her and the rest of them join in. And now they’re openly violent and aggressive because others are and it’s established group norms. What they’re doing is still r*cist though. It’s filled with r*cist undertones and micro-aggressions. None of them even really know Kemi as a person. So then what did the really use to bash her??? R*cial sterotypes.
David no doubt had said, I don’t remember the term for it, things that are mis*gynisticly r*cist about Kemi. Implying she has to be a maid for all of these people and being mad at her because she isn’t (while ignoring the white people in the house who don’t clean for shit: Jackson, Holly, Analyse). I know people in the tag have talked about it before, and they’re not crazy for seeing any of this stuff.
Also just because someone is a minority doesn’t mean they’re immune to r*cism, s*xism, etc. We see it with Bella and Analyse especially. But David is pretty obvious too. Now I haven’t really seen Ovi talk shit about Kemi but I also haven’t been watching the feeds since I’m on vacation. And I don’t know exactly what he’s been saying so I can’t really speak on that.
It’s just that it’s no coincidence the people they hate the most: Kemi, David, Ovi, are the darkest people in the house. But Kemi is further disenfranchised because she’s also a woman. So she’s dealing with problems from two separate fronts and the intersectionality between them.
But let me just say, like I’m white. And even though my mom is Puerto Rican that still wouldn’t make me black by any means. So I could be wrong about stuff and if I am feel free to call me about because I’m mostly reflecting on stuff I heard other people expressing concerns about. But you asked and so I’m gonna do my best to give you my thoughts on it.
In recent seasons the darkest women in the house gets the most heat no matter what kind of game play there is. This isn’t all a big coincidence it’s a pattern reflected every season that people have been rightfully upset about. ESPECIALLY for people who are supposed to be “represented” when they cast black women. I couldn’t imagine every season seeing people I’m supposed to connect with getting bullied and villianized for just breathing. It’s not a coincidence that the black women every year is targeted as soon as possible and shit talked the whole game.
