OPEN STARTER YEAR: 2296 LOCATION: Above Pennsylvania, heading towards New York CONTEXT: The NCR is attempting to eliminate any remnants of the Enclave left in the Wasteland. They are sending a full military force to remove the Enclave from the state of New York. The 72nd Airborne Division of the NCR is leading the invasion.

The sound of the C47 buzzing through the air was as loud as could be. If you would of told Rose that he'd be be flying in the literal air twelve months ago he would of called bullshit. But here he was, with a parachute on his back and the rough seat of a plane on his ass.

He wore the traditional brown fatigues of the NCR, only difference was his helmet covered in scrim, and a big patch on his right shoulder that read "AIRBORNE" with a Scorchbeast insignia.

The mission today? Drop into the outskirts of New York State, and take the city of Waverly from Enclave forces inhabiting the area. Intelligence given to the Paratroopers was that the Enclave had standard infantry soldiers with energy weapons and power armored soldiers further inland defending the rest of the area. The 72nd Airborne was to lead the invasion and make way for the rest of the NCR Infantry.

This was gonna be Roses' first jump. So it was safe to say he was scared shitless, like most Privates were. But, he at least was pretty good at hiding his fear.

His Service Rifle in his lap, he leans over to the figure in front of him, shouting above the rumbling sound of the aircraft. "Hey! You got a light?" He asks, gesturing to the cigarette between his fingers.

Rose is apart of the 72nd Airborne Division of the NCR. The Republic was able to find a few unharmed C47 Aircrafts along with blueprints located in an abandoned Enclave bunker near Montana and use them to drop soldiers in highly dangerous operation areas.
