I feel like I need to pour my feelings into some words.

You see, I’ve always preferred reading over watching, but I was (and still am) having a really tough time, and I needed something to keep destructive thoughts away from me, to distract me, and give me some time without having to think about my problems, and no other story managed to do that. But then someone recommended me to try The Sleuth of Ming Dynasty, and, well��� that was exactly what I needed, maybe even more. To be honest, I never expected that I would come to like it so much. I started watching it without any expectations at all. But right now this cdrama feels like meeting an old friend, like being wrapped up in a warm blanket, like having a cup of nice hot cocoa in my hands.

I started rewatching it as soon as I finished it, because I was not ready to say goodbye to all the characters and the setting and the scenes. It’s great. It’s amazing. It’s not perfect, but it’s good enough.

The novel nice as well, by the way, but it’s different. The drama, on the other hand, is exactly what my heart needed. For some reason it heals me and helps me.

Usually my way of saying thank you to a show or a book or a game is writing a fanfic or trying to draw something, but right now I feel drained, so I decided to write at least one post of appreciation (though I do hope that I will be able to finish at least a little fic haha)

I’ve finally finished the third (and the last) chapter of the Merthur fic I’ve been working on for almost half a year. It means really a lot to me, because it helped me to survive a really awful period of my life. Soooo maybe consider checking it

I’m kind of finished a fic inspired by this prompt. I should have finished it earlier, buuuut these several weeks have been quite eventful

Anyway, here it is. I really enjoyed writing this fic —and I hope you will enjoy reading it

Obsessed with this idea of Arthur always being magic positive (or atleast magic neutral initially) and being against Uther's rule. The more he grows, the more protective he gets of Camelot and it's people. He tries to turn the other way, and let sorcerers escape whenever he can see that they've done no harm.

But he never realises that merlin is a sorcerer. In fact, he thinks merlin shares his father's opinion about magic, so he always tries to be discreet and hides the fact that he is saving so many sorcerers.

Till one day when Uther gets information that a 7 year old girl has been spotted doing magic in Camelot. He orders Arthur to find the girl and have her executed. Merlin, obviously, gets wind of this and goes to rescue the girl, only to find Arthur wrapping her in his cloak and trying to sneak her out.

Imagine Arthur getting on his knees, near tears, begging merlin not to turn the girl in, "Magic isn't always evil, Merlin. I promise you! Please she's just a girl, she shouldn't be punished for existing."

I finally finished reading this wonderful trilogy, and… I fell in love with them again. I love almost every character and the relationships between them, but Snowbaz is really something special for me. So… here we are. Hello friends, I need some help

I’m going to work on my research this year and I really need you help. Please, could you send me the titles of non-fiction/popular science literature books that you used to read as a child? Or, maybe, some titles that your siblings/kids read these days. The books can be of any area: biology, astronomy, paleontology and so on.

I need to analyze English non-fiction books for children, but since I’m not from an English speaking country, it’s hard to find authentic and really good books.
