As of 1.17 snapshot 21w14a, mining iron, copper and gold ores (along with their Deepslate variants) will drop raw iron, copper or gold, which can then be smelted into ingots, rather than dropping their blocks.

These new drops are compatible with the Fortune enchantment, meaning that Fortune pickaxes can now be used to obtain extra iron, copper and gold ingots!

I personally believe that mc should add cobbled variants to these stones. Like why would normal stone break down into cobblestone but these wouldn’t?
