SPN... 320 episodes ❤️

320 hours... 320 episodes... that’s how Supernatural became part of my life. Everything happens for a reason in life I always say and I guess I wasn’t supposed to have SPN in my life until this year.

For many years... probably close to the start of it... one of my best friends Jen has told me I need to watch Supernatural. I kept saying no way I won’t like that show... I hate scary stuff. I would keep seeing stuff about the show on social media and when we go on road trips... we would get to the hotel and she goes Supernatural is on and I would watch it with her. I said it’s way too many season I would never catch up. Well the Covid-19 hit... everything I had planned got canceled. Mom was still working full time at the nursing home... she was and still is on the front line. I was still working in the office 5 days a week cause construction was essential. So I was stressed out with everything and I needed something to take my mind off of stuff when I got home from work. Well at the end of March... I finally gave in and started watching Supernatural. Last night... 6/27/2020... 320 episodes later... I am caught up and waiting for it to come back on in the fall and finish season 15... which is the final season. Yes I’m mad and sad at myself for not watching it sooner... It was not scary at all... everything about it... just hit home for me. Yes they kill “monsters” for a living but it’s so much more to it. The message is way bigger than the show itself. It has every emotion you can think of when watching it. One minute you will be crying then laughing then mad then back to crying. Yes I cried a lot with this show... I won’t lie. But I am glad I finally gave in and fell in love with everything about the show. The main part for me is they lost their Dad... which I lost mine 2 1/2 years ago unexpectedly. The strength and courage to keep moving on with life and living life no matter what gets thrown you way. I needed to see and feel that. I still have my days and moments and I can’t explain why I feel sad or out of it.... I miss Dad every day. But I also know I have to keep going and living life to the fullest. I am finally glad to be part of the SPNFamily. Sorry it took me so long but I will make up for lost time. Hopefully in 2021 I will be able to attend my first SPN convention. (Im saying 2021 cause I know everything is getting postponed till then) I’m different... I know this... I don’t have a husband and kids at my age. I’m a nerd who loves movies, tv shows, concerts and going to convention to meet the actors and actresses that I have watched for so long. Those moments mean the world to me. For those few hours I get to not think about real life. That’s what helps me cope with everything that has been thrown at me. I know some people don’t get it and never will. But I do and that’s what matters to me. So thank you Jen for always saying you need to watch this show... it has changed my life... Always Keep Fighting and Carry On....
