Things too many Harry Potter fans forget:

Dumbledore was in the middle of a war, his actions reflected that, he wasn’t plain evil or the best man Harry knew, he was human

James didn’t harass Lily nor did he bully Snape, this is based on one memory from a man who was obsessed with James’ wife

Pettigrew was their friend, that’s what made the betrayal so horrible so stop leaving him out of fanart
