regarding your tag, you get it from Octavian's card or by getting him randomly in your HHD plaza.

They will be unboxed eventually. Resetto/Resetti is absent on purpose, I refuse to buy him unless it's like 5 bucks.

Here’s some of the current data for Japanese version ACNL badges. Says “collected badges 401/568” … “collected pages 79/90” … “completed sets 43/90”
There are 598 badges across 90 sets, and I have 401 badges and amongst those 43 completed sets (plus stragglers).

If you love ACNL and ACHHD you really should pick up the Nintendo Badge Arcade, most of the badge offerings are Animal Crossing and Mario related. All the others are amazing too, and they have begun offering Pokemon Badges, but I (besides tons of decorations and villagers) have literally dozens of Isabellas/Shizues in different outfits on my JP 3DS and it's so wonderful! I literally have 400+ AC related badges out of 500+ so far, I personally probably won't get many on my NA 3DS because I have already invested so much in my JP collection, but if this is your first go, definitely worth it! You can get a good amount of badges for free if you remember to play the practice machine daily. :) You also get 5 free tries when you first download the game and the chance is high you'll also earn 3 more plays from the practice machine. Which is what happened for me both times (for JP last year, and then the other day when the NA version released).

Hi. May I ask if you know what is the differences between Happy Home Designer Perfect Kanpeki Guide Book by Famitsu and Happy Home Designer the Complete Guide by Dengeki? Thank you! :)
I only have the Kanpeki guide book by Famitsu, mainly because I personally seem to prefer Famitsu produced guides most often. In terms of content there is likely no difference. Main difference would likely be in the page layouts and graphic design... which is usually what makes the Famitsu guides better than others. However, this is bias and assumption on my part, as I don’t physically own both to do a side by side comparison.

Have noticed some complaints that people are seemingly unable to use nicer photos for their online projects in ACHHD.
The trick to it is to not upload the project when you first complete it. Say no, then once you get back to the office go visit the project you want to upload, do whatever you like and take a nice picture using the camera.
Click the housing book (it will show the new photo you took sticking out of the icon) and it will ask you if you want to switch the default photo to the last one you took. Do that first.
THEN, also in the housing book, click on the villager or project you want to upload, a button that looks like the online station (called ツクッター in Japanese, not sure what the English name for it is) will appear, click that and it will display the nice photo you just set and ask if you wanna upload the project. (note that you can do this same process to update the photo of a project that's already uploaded, do the exact same steps).
Tada~!
