Layla @laylaayman-blog has had her phone destroyed by her house's structure falling and by being under the rubble, thankfully Layla and her family survived the attacks but she will need a new phone to communicate, and as you may know prices of food in Gaza are horrifying, so please imagine what a phone must cost.

URGENT: FUNDRAISING FOR BREAST CANCER TREATMENT

I have tried my absolute best not to seek financial help online, especially when our collective focus should be aimed towards the welfare of our Palestinians, Congolese, and Sudanese brothers and sisters. I truly have considered countless options before resorting to asking for monetary assistance but I no longer have the means to keep myself alive and my little family afloat. Following my father's death almost three years ago due to colorectal cancer, I was diagnosed late last year with Stage 2A breast cancer.

There's an even elaborate explanation on the fundraising page that I will be attaching in this post. Please, take some time to read it. I am our family's breadwinner, and I am only asking for monetary assistance because I no longer have a job/source of income nor is my previous company willing to shoulder my medical expenses. I am left to fend for myself and I have used all of my savings to afford numerous physical/health examinations and the prescribed medication.

I am going to attach photos of how disfigured my right arm now is, the evident lumps/tumors on my armpits and if you want proof of how the cancer affected my breasts, please directly message me. I don't think I can explicitly share the photos here. But to put enough context, my left breast shrunk into at least 1/3 of its original size.

I am sincerely sorry for being a bother, but if you have the means to donate to my fundraising post, please do. I badly needed all the help I can get so I won't be summoned to court and would be able to afford surgery on time. If you cannot donate, please kindly share this post. This is a video I took from Bisan's page because I feel like this is important. Bisan, here talks about the second winter of this genocide and some of the important points are:

the rains have caused the sea level to rise and it has flooded the tents which were set up on the beach.

speaking of tents themselves- they do not preserve heat. It is not made to preserve heat and yet gazans have had to live in these shelters for over a year

last November there still were shops; there were means of production, however little, to produce clothes, coats, and blankets that could keep people from freezing...right now there is nothing as every inch of the Gaza Strip has been carpet bombed.

Israel has blocked life sustaining supplies and fuel like coal and wood have started to run out: it is becoming impossible for people keep warm.

I don't have much to say anymore and can only request you to keep your eyes on Gaza. Gazans are struggling to survive and right now every little donation can go a long way into sustaining life. My friend, Siraj Abudayeh ( @siraj2024 ) has been struggling too and while his tent was not washed away in the waves, it did drown because of the destruction of sewage wells. He hopes that if not all, he can at least help some of the most vulnerable members of his family by continuing to rent a shelter. However since his old campaign was abruptly shut down by gofundme, he lost a lot of money and right now he can no longer afford the shelter.

So please this is a request to donate to Siraj. If you have received a refund, please consider a redonation. If it is not possible to donate then please boost. Sharing the fundraiser goes a long way.

This is the exact same situation Suad Ahmad, @suad-khaled, (#279) is going through. She has given birth a baby named Khaled and he is 5 months old. He is ill with two viral infections. There is one in his chest and it is difficult for him to breath properly, so he depends on a nebulizer. and needs at least 4 sessions per DAY. Unfortunately, there is limited electricity as the air pollution worsens by the day. And he is starving. Prices for baby formula has sky rocketed. But when Suad does buy it, it is expired! The same thing applies to diapers. Two of them costs $30 to $50 USD! Not a box of them. JUST TWO.

She also needs aid, blankets, clothing, and other essentials for him to be safe and warm for the freezing winter! So let's help Suad reach the short-term goal of 38K! $37,391 has been raised. There is $609 to go!
