Abiy’s foot soldiers are about to be driven out of Amhara land by Fano, and Abiy is using drones in a desperate attempt, resulting in the deaths of innocent civilians.

Abiy and his vacuous general, Berhanu Jula, thought they could easily crush and disarm the Amhara Fano within a short period of time. On the contrary, Fano's forces emerged victorious, defeating Abiy's soldiers, acquiring their heavy weaponry, and asserting dominance over almost all regions. Abiy quickly realized Fano's dominance in the fight and responded by launching drone attacks and heavy artillery shelling on civilian residences, leading to the merciless murder of countless innocent individuals. As a matter of fact, a cowardly person is brutal, willing to murder without mercy when given the chance. Abiy is both brutal and narcissistic, suffering from a mental health condition known as “narcissistic personality disorder”, characterized by an inflated sense of self-importance.

Women and children are victims of heinous acts during this systematic elimination of countless lives. By committing these acts of violence, not only are basic human rights principles violated, but also the value of human life is completely ignored. The international community should have condemned Abiy for his complicity and evilness in using drones to kill innocent Amhara civilians indiscriminately, which is a genocidal act.

Sadly enough, the western countries blatantly ignored the Amhara genocide, but during the Abiy-TPLF war two years ago, the security council repeatedly held open meetings against Abiy, as requested by Ireland with the support of the US, United Kingdom, and some European nations. In fact, during TPLF's 27-year rule, they strategically invested Ethiopian wealth to gain allies in western countries, showing that the US and certain European nations supported TPLF in the war against Abiy. The US and United Kingdom's unfair stance against Amhara would not surprise the Amharas. The Amhara people have had a history of being targeted by foreign invaders, like the aggression from fascist Italy in 1935, which persists to this day. Our forefathers fought fearlessly against fascist Italy, and today Fano is showing immense bravery in its resistance against the savage Oromumma government.

It is truly pathetic how the US government turned a blind eye to the ongoing Amhara genocide under an incapable, barbarous regime. In fact, two years ago, during a press conference, President Baden made a shocking and biased remark about the war between Abiy and TPLF, demanding the withdrawal of the Amhara special forces from Tigray, a fact that was not publicly known. Amhara's special forces have never entered Tigray, but it was the TPLF forces that invaded Amhara's land. Of course, the TPLF supporters falsely led the President to believe that Welkait was part of Tigray. Let’s not forget that the US financed and provided logistical materials to the TPLF while they were fighting as guerrillas against the Marxist regime. A day will come when the US stands alongside the Amhara people. The only way to stop Amhara's suffering and deaths is by defeating its enemies. The OLF has been relentlessly working to annihilate the Amhara people for the past half-century.

In the early 1991s, Berhanu Nega and Genenew Assefa organized the international conference on the Horn of Africa in New York City sponsoring by the City University of New York chancellor, Murphy, which was heavily influenced by anti-Ethiopia groups TPLF, Shabia, and OLF. Luckily, I attended the conference where the guest speaker was a Arepresentative from OLF, who was in his early 60s with gray hair. The OLF speaker was criticizing the Amhara people, indicating that in the US city, all Ethiopian restaurants are owned by Amharas, while Oromos have no one. The audiences thought his disgruntlement with Amharas was funny, so they laughed at him. To me, his repugnant speech towards Amhara was not as funny as I initially thought. The speech was dangerous, and the Amhara should not have dismissed it as frivolous. The connivance of the OLF with the Amhara people was not recent, it was long ago. Abiy and his subordinate extremist Oromos now have the chance to use drones for bombing innocent Amharas. Not taking the Oromo's extremist propaganda seriously was a mistake made by the Amhara in the past. Nevertheless, the Oromumma’s diabolical action on the Amhara is a transient, and the Fano's strength is impregnable, and they will soon reverse this horrendous crime against the Amharas. It is an impending fact!

Let me take a moment to jot down some thoughts on Berhanu Nega. Through common friends, I have had the chance to meet Berhanu Nega on a few occasions in New York in 1991. During those short meeting with Berhanu, I observed his strong support for TPLF and OLF, as he consistently emphasized the importance of peace for Ethiopia and the removal of Derg. I was struck by his insistence that power should shift to the south this time. He continued mentioning that for the past two centuries, Ethiopia has been ruled by northerners in rotation. So, resolving the Oromo’s question is crucial for peace in Ethiopia. During the conversation, he employed diplomatic language that avoids offending others.

Without a doubt, Berhanu Nega is untrustworthy and driven by a desire for political power and an intrigue person. As widely known by all, he left his teaching job in the US in pursuit of a high-level position in Ethiopia, but was not given any opportunities by the late Prime Minister, Meles Zenawi. Unlike Abiy, Meles was not easy. For his own advantages, he used to be involved with the Amhara society in terms of social life. The Amhara people did not really know Berhanu until his true colors were revealed. What he is doing right now to the Amhara people is proof. I am acquainting the viewers with the fact that Berhanu Nega holds a negative view of the Amhara people. Regardless of how long it takes, Berhanu should be held accountable for the crime he is committing against the Amhara people while collaborating with the Oromumma government.

The Oromumma and The Woyanne Tigre cannot Wear-Down the identity of Welkait and Raya people by conducting a war of attrition.

Recently, I have listened to and read the joint declaration of war on the Amhara people from the Oromumma official in Mekele, and from the defence minister’s twitter, saying that Welkait and Raya will return to Tigray as the Pretoria peace agreement. This is not an extemporaneous speech or tweet for the TPLF and OLF; it's already planned to decimate the Amhara special force and the Fano in order to handing over Welkait and Raya to TPLF. During the last round of war between the Abiy and TPLF, Abiy won the war with the help of an undefeated warrior Amhara Fano, and Amhara special forces. While troops were heading to capture the TPLF warlord, the American government contacted Abiy to resuscitate the TPLF from the demise.

At the same time, the TPLF pleaded with the American government to intercede with the Ethiopian government. Based on hearsay, the American government asked the prime minister to negotiate with TPLF, and the Prime Minister swiftly agreed to a negotiation that benefited the TPLF and the TPLF accepted it without preconditions. Nobody knew about the discussion that took place in Pretoria, South Africa, where they negotiated.

According to the TPLF, the peace agreement covered Welkait and Raya, and those areas should be part of Tigray, but the Abiy’s mouthpiece, Redwan Husssin, told to the public that the TPLF never claimed about Welkait and Raya at the meeting. The Oromumma government says that disarming TPLF fighters and taking other actions are part of the peace agreement to deploy federal defense force in Mekele.

The peace negotiation in Pretoria was followed by the Abiy government's call for the dismantling and integration of all ethnically based special forces into the federal defense force within a month, which resulted in serious problems festering and growing large.

Despite these facts, Abiy made a promise to US diplomats to give Welkait and Raya back to TPLF once the Amharas are disarmed. Abiy knows that the Amhara Fano and the Amhara special forces are an indomitable opponent who fight with high sprits. Then, the Amhara special force and Fano were surprisingly instructed by the Abiy government to disarm and return home, while the special forces of other regions were left untouched. Prior to the peace agreement, the Prime Minister launched a scurrilous attack on Fano to fulfill his objectives giving a false information to his gullible parliament by stating that Fano is responsible for killing the defense force and taking their newly acquired weapons.

Amidst the government's intense war with TPLF, the Prime Minister praised the Amhara Fano's valor and welcomed them to join in the fight. Prior to the war, Fano was not armed, but the government mandated them to grab a weapon from the surrendered TPLF fighters in order to fight against the TPLF. The fearless Fano fought against TPLF, which is a fact. The TPLF soldiers were advancing towards the nation's capital to take control. In reality, the TPLF would have taken over Ethiopia if the Amhara Fano and special forces didn't fight back. Of course, Fano and the Amhara special forces sacrificed their lives to remove the TPLF invasion forces from the Amhara’s land.

After defeating the TPLF, Abiy's primary objectives are to weaken his rivals, consolidate his power, and disarm the Amhara Fano and special forces. The Amhara Fano is a significant obstacle to his plan of returning Welkait and Raya to the TPLF. Abiy's power may not be threatened by TPLF at this point if he addresses TPLF’s demand and proceeds using with a systematic ploy that targets the Amhara’s special forces while leaving other special forces intact. And it’s reasonable for Fano to remain armed as a defense against the TPLF and OLF harmful intentions towards the Amhara people.

Abiy pledged on Twitter to disarm the Amhara Fano and special forces in three months, but it didn't come to fruition. Instead of what Abiy expected, he was confronted with a daunting challenge from Amhara Fano, which prompted him to declare a state of emergency for six months and send in hireling soldiers who are rapidly crushing and surrender to Amhara Fano.

Unable to defend against Fano's attack, Abiy used air strikes and drones to commit genocide against innocent civilians in major cities. In addition to air strike and drones, Abiy's national defense force also used tanks and heavy artillery. The use of drones on civilians by Abiy's government is a clear indication of desperation. Using air strikes and drones to kill innocent civilians in a city is causing the Amhara people to unite and fight back with determination, resulting in the liberation of more key places from Abiy's occupying force.

Abiy tried to muffle the Amhara’s voices by appointing systematically anti-Amhara loyalists, replicating TPLF’s 27-year strategy. Since the fascist Abiy took office, the Amhara people living across the country have been nearly wiped out by Abiy’s extremists Oromo special force, which is a form of genocide. Abiy and his associate's primary goal is to reduce the Amhara population through indiscriminate killing, imprisonment, rape, and eviscerating unborn children from pregnant women, which is a dangerous and an existential threat to the Amharas. Then, Fano and the Amhara special force are making a valiant effort to protect the Amhara from their dangerous enemies, even as they imagine their diabolical actions. The Amhara Fano and the Amhara special force quickly mobilized to resist the inhumane and brutal attacks of the Abiy soldiers, which has filled the hearts of Amhara parents with pride.

Looking back, Abiy came to power through the efforts of the Amhara people, and all Ethiopians went to rally to support the Prime Minister, but Abiy duped the Ethiopians using his adroit tongue during his inauguration the speech he delivered at the parliament was a patriotic, praised and called Ethiopia multiple times for the first time in 27 years. At the same token, Ethiopians were expected that he would bring a genuine change in the country and amending the constitution, which does not represent the Amhara people, but Abiy and his cabals starting maintaining the status quo that favored the interest of TPLF and OLF. Abiy didn't fully address the people's demand to change the constitution. Instead, he invited exiled OLF leaders who had been pushing for secession for 50 years to join his government shortly after he took office. However, upon their arrival, they declared Addis Ababa as part of Oromia, which came as a stunning the city's inhabitants. Abiy’s regime began to forcefully impose Oromumma culture and language on people who are not an Oromo. Abiy Ahmed is not only imposing Oromo’s culture and language but also apprehending numerous ethnic Amhara in Addis Ababa and banning them from entering the capital city from the Amhara region, has caused immense anger among the Amhara society.

In spite of that, this savagery regime will take lessons from Adolf Hitler's execution of innocent Jewish civilians for not being an Aryan race. However, killing six million Jews did not exempt him from the crimes he perpetrated. The same is true that Abiy cannot avoid accountability for the crime he committed against the Amhara people. Abiy is a ruthless and treacherous character who brought shame to the nation and its people in the eyes of the world in the 21st century. Also, many people, including experts who have observed his fickleness and lack of substance consider his PhD, the authenticity of which is still uncertain, irrelevant.

It's crucial for the Amhara living both inside and outside the country to stay united.

Amhara never seen or heard such excruciating torture in its history before as it did today. When TPLF and OLF had controlled the whole of Ethiopia in 1991, the OLF mercilessly murdered pregnant women and children in Arbagugu and Bedeno, which have left an indelible memory in my mind. In fact, this heinous crime was committed by the OLF under the TPLF's acquiescence. Thanks to professor Asrat Woldeyes for being there and voiced his voice for the voiceless Amharas, otherwise, all Amharas in those regions would have been wiped out by the OLF. Although the joint rule of TPLF and OLF was brief, but OLF craved more power over TPLF. As a result, TPLF expelled the OLF from the country and disarmed their foot soldiers. The Amhara's mass killing had somewhat stopped for the past 27 years because of their squabble, but not completely.

As aforementioned earlier, the OLF has been persistently preaching their animosity for the past 50 years by creating a false narrative that Minilik killed “five million” Oromos. Despite the OLF's allegation, the 60th students movement, particularly the Amhara elites, turned a blind eye, and some Amharas even sided with the OLF's unfounded accusations that targeted the Amhara people. Looking back at what the Amhara radical students did in 1960, it was clear that their political agenda was against the Amhara people, who are now upliftment of the downtrodden the Amhara today.

Given the fact, the Amhara people are facing a dire situation where women and children are slaughtered by the savagery of the Oromumma government for no apparent reason. I implore Amharas, both within and beyond the border, to unite and fight against the murderer Abiy and TPLF. “We are only as strong as we are united, as weak as we are divided.” Abiy and his associates attempt to divide the Amharas by providing them with incentives such as luxurious houses or vehicles, using any means necessary. At this movement, Fano is fighting against not only the Oromumma force but also against dangerous and renegade Amharas who are serving an Oromo oligarchy.

Demeke Mekonenn and his surrogates are the most noxious insects to the Amhara people since the TPLF rule, and these people are the most dangerous enemy Amharas have ever faced today. The reality is that, the Oromumma force is not capable of fighting against Fano alone, so the government is using the traitors of Amharas to do the dirty job. Otherwise, Fano would have already taken over the entire Amhara region within a short period. To fasten the victory, the unity of Amhara is paramount in providing limitless support to Amhara Fano, who is fiercely battling against the inhumane and brutal Oromumma regime and the perfidious Amharas who kill their own people. My sincere plea is for the Amhara should avoid pointless arguments and come together as a unified voice to support the Amhara who are suffering under the harsh regime.

The speech by the Oromumma official in Mekele and the defense minister’s tweet are calling for a joint military action to invade Welkait and Raya, and quell the Amhara Fano and the Amhara special force uprising. Prior to Abiy becoming Prime Minister, the TPLF invaded the ancestral lands of Amhara, Welkait, and Raya, imposing their language and culture on them. Since 1991, the Tigray People Liberation Front (TPLF) has been killing and demonizing the people of Welkait Tsegeday and Humera, with the intention of expanding their borders into Sudan by annexing the fertile lands of Gondar and forming the ‘Greater Tigray’. However, after many sacrifices, the Amhara special force and Fano were able to regain control of Welkait and Raya from TPLF. TPLF, using a false narrates, adamantly claims that Welkait and Raya have been part of Tigray from the beginning with no shame, which is ironic. Retaking Welkait and Raya will be a risky move for TPLF and Abiy as the Amharas stand behind the people.

Was OLF tipped off by the authority that Dr. Ambachew and General Asaminew would be killed and claiming Wollo is part of North Oromia? To begin with, I am deeply saddened and heartbroken for the loss of  General Asaminew, Dr. Ambachew, and others. Certainly, this tragedy has devastated all Amharas. Nevertheless, the Amharas people deserve to know the truth from the government. Right now, the authority and the anti-Amharas are trying to infuriate and divide the Amharas by bruiting false and contradicting information. Why do the anti-Amharas gather with uproarious censure and clamorous applause? I can say this confidently to those who are anti-Amharas, whether they like it or not, Amharas are becoming more united than ever before and there are millions of Asaminew. Coming to the OLF's statement, I took a quick glimpse at the OLF outcry a statement posted on the Zehabesha website, which partially brought to my attention that saying the Oromos racially attacked in "North Oromia, Wollo and the political change brought into the country because of the OLF big sacrifices with its supporters of Qeeroo Bilisummaa Oromoo." This would be funny; and the statement is a tactical political gambit to pursue its dream of seceding by claiming Wollo as the TPLF claimed Welkait and Raya; where the people are still being savagely massacred on their own ancestors' land by the TPLF-Woyanne. As it is widely known about the OLF for the last 27 years, the OLF leaders were hiding in Eritrea with its remnant soldiers and the leader was engaged doing business in Asmara to Dubai. On the other side, its remnant soldiers were working for Eritrean government repairing roads, but for the last 27 years, dozens of Oromo youth had been thrown in the jail and killed by the TPLF-Woyanne and during these brutal times in history, the Oromos themselves did not see or hear any bullet in the region from OLF against TPLF. Funny enough, the OLF leaders are bragging with no shame and with falsehoods that change has occurred in Ethiopia because the OLF waged bitter warfare against the TPLF. Of course, there is no denying that the Oromo Qeeroo(s) were protesting against TPLF brutal regime, and even though, no matter how hard the Qeeroo tried, they could not win against the TPLF alone without the Amhara youth participation; and the Fano, Qeeroo, and others showed their unity with high spirit to depose the TPLF. To  remind the OLF leaders, I would like to quote from my previous piece which I wrote over two years ago how the Gondar's protesting was effective:  "The Amhara's youth protesters in Gondar were effective in  protesting and showed their solidarity with Oromo youth by saying that"Oromo's blood is my blood, Bekele Gerba  is our leader, stop killing our brothers." These slogans made the Ethiopians come together against the fascist regime, which effectively exposed the TPLF's ploy of 'divide and rule' for the last 25 years. It is true that the Woyanne regime was seen panicking when the Oromos and the Amharas marched together to give a voice to the  voiceless." Beside the Qeeroo and Fano protesters inside the country, the Diaspora of the Amharas relentlessly played a key role in removing the TPLF from the office by lobbying the US Congress. They rallied to bring attention to take a stand against the TPLF "to vote on the resolutions of HR128 about human right situations in Ethiopia."  Even the TPLF chairman, Debretsion, finally conceded that the TPLF's defeat came about by the diasporas of the Amhara elites. He said this in a private speech boasting and belittling the OPDO-OLF, which was posted on the Ethiopians outlets. These are the facts on the land where people know well who brought the so-called changes or reforms. Unfortunately, the change was not a radical political change, it was rather replaced one with another, in other words, TPLF replaced with ODP-OLF and releasing political prisoners only for international media cover-up.   Having said that, it seemed that the OLF's statement is well orchestrated to claim Wollo is part of 'North Oromia,' and after the statement posted less than a month, General Asaminew and Dr. Ambachew were killed including other officials in Baher Dar that emphatically put the Amharas in disbelief. Of course, General Asaminew and Dr. Ambachew would not easily back down for the new ODP-OLF oligarchies. However, the OLF leaders should know better that Wollo is the heartland of the Amhara and the Amharas will not implore the OLF to change its mind of the leftover dream of forming the Republic of Oromia, but it will be a big political mistake to claim Wollo is part of 'North Oromia.' To say the least, the Prime Minister Abiy came to power through the efforts of Demeke Mekonnen and all Ethiopians went to rally to support the Prime Minister. During his inauguration the speech he delivered at the parliament was very patriotic, praising Ethiopia by mentioning it several times as the Bible does the first time in 27 years. At the same token, Ethiopians were expected that he would bring a real change in the country and amending the constitution, but instead the Prime Minister and his cabals starting maintaining the status quo that favored the TPLF's reign, which his party, ODP proved that cannot compromise on the current constitution. Unfortunately, Abiy and his team duped the Amhara once again. As we all know, the Amharas for the last 27 years have been hunted and killed in every region in the country by the TPLF-Woyanne and its cronies. Now, the ODP-OLF is taking a turn to repeat what TPLF had done to the Amhara. Currently, we saw in Baher Dar innocent Amharas were arrested on a large scale, and brutally murdered by ODP armies without any evidence in the related recent death of the Amharas officials. Sadly enough, as soon as Abiy held the Prime Minister position, the Oromo extremists started displacing and killing none Oromos in the Oromia region, and the Prime Minister did not take any action against these criminals that he seemed he acquiesced to it. But, when it comes to Amhara ethnicity, he showed his true color when he ordered the army to kill and arrest indiscriminately the Amharas in Baher Dar and in other regions without jurisdiction. Arresting and killing is not quelling the people of the Amhara, it rather aggravates the situations. For that matter, the Oromo extremist, like Jawar and the TPLF are working together against Amhara at this point. The Oromo extremists and the TPLF have been recruiting some individuals from Qimant and Agew to rant on their TV condemning the Amhara, which is completely none of their business, just merely to de-stabilize the region that mainly to weaken the Amhara in order to advance their expansions agendas, but when the Amharas were cruelly killed in Benishangul, Welkait, and Raya, the OLF, and the TPLF cheered and applauded. It is true that the late General Asaminew Tsige spoke the truth that the 'Amhara is surrounded' by the TPLF and the OLF.   Undoubtedly, the OLF tries to renew its a long time doctrine that aims to expunge the name Ethiopia and replace it with Oromia. It is undeniable at this moment radical OLF members and the Oromo first extremists are given key government positions from top to bottom to control the security, military, and the finance which enables them to cling to power as the TPLF did. This recent statement tells as if  Wollo is part of North Oromia, and this should be an alarm bell for the Amharas to stand united. Enough is enough!

Immorality and complicity with the TPLF policy of killing and displacing the Amhara in Benishangul

Actually, there has been a pattern of massively murdering and displacing the Amharas for the last 27 years by the TPLF and its agents in every region in the country, but the recent gruesome massively attacked a young boy's genitals being removed in Benishangul is very disturbing and savagely cruel. This barbarous act emphatically shows that the TPLF is deliberately planning and wilfully caused the deaths and sufferings of the Amhara, which is a crime of moral turpitude.

Strangely enough, it is not seen or heard by any of the opposition groups or advocacy in the country condemning this unprecedented and diabolical act perpetrated on 14 -year- old Amhara by the TPLF agents. It is stunning that how people could tolerate seeing a young boy with his genitals removed and thrown on the street.

 The TPLF has had a long-term goal of the destroying the Amhara and of course, a million of Amharas have been murdered since the TPLF controlled the country. The Tigray People Liberation Front (TPLF) intention was crystal clear that its ultimate goal was to secede from Ethiopia, by falsely accusing the Amhara by spewing hate-mongering propaganda that Tigray is being destitute economically poor and vagrant. This an utterly false accusation and an utterly scurrilous threat became the TPLF's an implacable policy of the ethnic Amhara that its virulence still makes one wince.  

 Frankly speaking in the past, no Amhara went to Tigray to look for economic opportunity. The TPLF tried to launch its political mission over the Amhara people using sophistry to convince the west that the Amhara people were the oppressors and trying to take control of Tigray and its economy. This, of course, is a falsehood and entirely untrue.

 It is vice versa, now at this time, it is an Amhara ethnicity who downtrodden by the TPLE regime, which the TPLF and its associates never realized its folly that created hostility and enemies between the Tigre ethnicity and others.  At one time the big enemy of the Ethiopian, the late TPLF chief had promised to his cabals that he would make the Amhara beggars on the street and to an extent, he tried to wipe-out the Amhara from Welkait, and still the people of Welkait under TPLF without respite from suffering. These heinous crimes created an ethnic-racial tension to fester throughout the country. Look what happened between ethnic Oromo and ethnic Somali.

 Nevertheless, I reiterate in my previous pieces that the Amhara is one of the large segments and rooted people in the country that the Tigray oligarchies could never eliminate the Amhara.

 Despite the fact, from my perspective, if this vampire regime stays in power for the next 20-30 years, say, hypothetically, there will be the possibilities of making the Amhara a minority ethnic group. If the TPLF and its cronies continue orchestrating ethnic cleansing to every part of the country where the Amharas live, it may become a reality. If I recall correctly, the late TPLF leader bragged that if "we want, we can make the Oromos minority." This is a tangible evidence having a suspicious.

 A few years ago, I wrote an article about Melese legacy where the TPLF tripped, and I mentioned the TPLF's hideous crime on Amharas populations:

 "Sadly enough, the TPLF brutal killing of innocent Amharas peasants in the southern part of the country was not enough; the TPLF tried to inject some sort of sterilizer into Amhara women that would make them unable to conceive.  Further, a few years ago a report given to Woyanne parliament about the disappearance of 2.4 million Amharas in the census conducted was evidence. The TPLF tried any means necessary to reduce the number of the Amhara population. These diabolic actions on Amharas, it is not new, it is already in the record."

 Funny enough, I happened to read a warning rebuttal written in Amharic by Abraham Desta the Arena Tigray chairman, posted on welkait.com saying that Welkait will be the battlefield if the Amharas do not give up on Welkait. He continues saying he told to the Amharas activist that the question of expanding territory is inconceivable, and there is no way for the Amhara to take back Welkait from Tigrayan. In other words, it will be the end of the Amharas if they think of about Welkait. That is what he meant!      

 I would not be surprised by his skin deep shallow comment. This narrow minded ethnocentric-Tigryan tries to brag that the Woyanne-Tigre is superior and strong in every aspect of, like militarily and economically, which he seemed a gullible person who falls in the TPLF's old trick, because the Tigryans peasants are heavily armed in Welkait and in Humera whereas the Amharas' peasant guns have been taken by TPLF forces, and that is why Abraham Desta tries to threaten the Amhara as if Welkait was part of Tigray even before Woyanne went to the bush.

 Arena chairman knows very well that Welkait was never part of the Tigray region. Let me acquaint him with some facts that, if the Amhara dies for its land which is forcibly taken by an expansionist regime, is legitimate and justified, but if a Tigryan dies for a land which does not belong to them is meaningless and insane. I know for sure Abraham is worried about the survival of the TPLF regime if it begins to wind down, which is inevitable.

 As it is known to all, in the TPLF's manifesto outline said that apart from "capitalism and imperialism," the number one enemy of the Tigray people is Amhara. Unfortunately, the ordinary Amhara never knew the Woyanne's ill will against Amhara people, and the TPLF for a solid 17 years organized and accumulated a large hoard of weapons so that it could easily crush its enemy. Obviously, the Amhara where indiscriminately slaughtered and evicted from their own land, which is genocide.

 Here something TPLF should know that killing the Amharas for the sake of repugnancy, will not bring peace or prosperity for the Tigray people. It brings chaos that leads to the war between ethnicities. The TPLF formulated ethnic and language-based federalism in order to stay in power. Now the TPLF's power is weakening.  "Divide and  Rule," in the 21 century is an obsolete idea that initially the system planned by the TPLF to isolate and target the Amhara, which is a primitive and show the ignorance of the Woyanne.

As I mentioned above, brutality and displacing of the ethnic Amhara from every region in the country has been occurring for the past 27 years. But, this recent merciless attack is very painful on a 14 years old boy being mutilated and displayed on the street by the TPLF agents in Benishangul is extremely heinous.

               Major Dawit W. Giorgis And Amhara

                   I happened to listen to the speech of Major Dawit at Ethiopian National Unity Convention in Seattle, with great interest and attention. I found myself somehow sharing some of his ideas, in particular, the Amharas being reclusive and targeted by the TPLF and its cronies for the last 26 years.

 Major Dawit is absolutely right when he says that the Amhara needs to be organized to defend itself. However, some people start to squeal like pigs unfairly against the Amhara, but when the Amharas are massively killed for no reason by the TPLF,  they stay silent. No ethnic group has been haunted and killed by the TPLF regime like the Amharas have been cruelly terrorized and slaughtered.

It is true, as Major Dawit has stated correctly that the Amharas are targeted by the TPLF, it is not because the Amharas are from Gondar, Gojam, Wello, and Shewa; it is merely because they are Amharas.

 As it is known, the Woyanne-Tigre seized Addis Ababa, and immediately started aiding and abetting the OLF to slaughter pregnant women and children in Arbagugu and Bedeno, where the worst crimes in Ethiopian history were seen.

For that matter, Shabia did the same thing to the Amhara troops before this horrendous crime took place in Arbagugu and Bedeno. While Shabia was advancing to control Asmara, the Ethiopian armies already surrendered peacefully to the EPLF guerrillas.

 The exact number of soldiers who surrendered was not known. The information disseminated from those who managed to escape the executions, and surprisingly, the Shabia selected only the higher ranking Amhara officers. This included many wounded soldiers to be brutally murdered, which is an unforgivable, unforgettable, and horrendous crime.    

 I am unsure if Major Dawit would agree with Shabia's brutal murder of the Amhara soldiers in Asmara in the early 90s. If I recall correctly, Major Dawit and Isayas collaborated on an ad hoc basis to topple the Colonel Mengistu Hailemariam government. I also read an article written by Major Dawit, which stated that Isayas was in favor of a federation with Ethiopia. I heard the same rhetoric from different Ethiopians and I could not believe it.

 Of course, Isayas could say anything to any Ethiopians who can fight for him with the TPLF in order to achieve his goals. Even his recent interview with the OLF folks was a gimmick and was perplexing, when he said that the ordinary Amharas are not responsible for what their leader did in the past. Funny enough, he continued by saying Ethiopia being a country for 3,000 years is a "myth."  This is not a new decry, what Isayas was trying to say, but Isayas' interview seemed to have a lack of candor.

 If Isayas had any empathy for the Amhara, he would not have such a kind heart shooting the peacefully surrendered troops. It was crystal clear, both Shabia and Woyanne had the same stance against Amhara when they were close alliances, but now it is a different story. Anyway at this point, Isayas is not as nearly as dangerous to the Amharas as TPLF and its surrogates.

 I know for sure that some folks will not be happy when I try to divulge what should be revealed about the Amhara's soldiers ordeal in Eritrea. However, it is a reality.

 Leaving this aside, I was enthralled with Major Dawit's encouraging speech about the unfairness of some people when the Amharas come together to defend itself from the extremists. However, I was perturbed by the allegation made by Major Dawit about Moresh Wegene saying that "the Oromos are not Ethiopians, they emigrated to Ethiopia from Madagascar."

 I thoroughly spent countless hours on the internet to find out the veracity of what Major has said, and I found no documents that support Major Dawit's speech about Moresh Wegenie.

 Beside my efforts, I read a rejoinder from Moresh Wegene to Major Dawit's inaccurate speech which inquired to produce evidence. If it was an unintentional speech, it needs an apology.

 I was a little bemused when Major Dawit spoke publicly about Moresh which is not on the surface, unless to pleased the TPLF and the OLF.  I have been following the chairman of the Moresh Wegenie speeches, which strongly condemns the TPLF and the OLF deliberately killing the Amharas. The chairman always speaks about the Amhara's contribution to the Ethiopian history.  

 To that extent, Moresh Wegene has tirelessly been vocal for the Amharas indiscriminately killing by the TPLF regime for no apparent reasons, and there is no doubt that the TPLF's and the OLF's diabolical action to the Amharas was not covert for Major Dawit. It is very strange why Major Dawit chooses to accuse Moresh Wegene of being against Oromos; if Major Dawit wants the Amharas and the Oromos to come together, he would have done his speech in a circumspect manner.

 I also read some articles of Major Dawit, which were insightful with measured approach, but compared to his recent speech about Moresh seemed a vindictive and personalized speech that degrades his credibility.

 As I mentioned above, I agree with Major Dawit's partial speech that he touched the indispensable issue about the Amhara's participation in any political party or organization is vital and effective. The same thing is true that, not only the Amhara, its land is geographically and politically strategic. Otherwise, it would be a daunting task for any political party who excludes the Amhara.

Jawar's new speech about the Amhara resistance is a subterfuge in an attempt to get the Amhara youth out of the Ethiopiawinet. 

To start with, Jawar is a political amateur who engages in preaching of the ethnic animosity. He has a deep-seated ill will towards the  Amharas that threatens to kindle hostility between the Oromo and the Amhara. He has been emulating the OLF's political rancor towards the Amhara ethnicity for the last fifty years. As soon as he landed in America, Jawar immediately plunged into the OLF camp to pursue the politics of hate. This anti-Amhara zealotry is a 'political business cycle',  which Jawar would immensely benefit from by raising money from credulous audiences.    

 To the point, OLF is a political miscreant, that murdered innocent Amharas in the early 90's for no reason other than merely being an Amhara. Those actions have left an indelible and unalterable impression. Jawar's recent guileful speech on Amhara nationalism was striking. In the speech, Jawar implies that the Amhara should organize and struggle to create the Amhara nation as if he has any regard for the demonization of the Amhara at the hands of the TPLF for the last 25 years. I have scrupulously listened and watched Jawar's vacuous speech and videos that preach sectarianism and seek to destroy Ethiopia in order to create a new 'Oromia nation', which will never happen.

 It is interesting to note that Jawar's recent speech about the Amhara resistance is reflective of the long time OLF doctrine that aims to expunge the name Ethiopia and replace it with the Oromia. Of course, the Oromo extremists are very much aware that 'secessionist' agenda is a venture, which has been an intractable political issue in Ethiopia, and roundly rejected by the Ethiopian people. The OLF tried to cajole Jawar into doing it by giving a passionate speech to the new Amhara resistance to create its nation, which will give the OLF a free ride to complete its struggle to create an independent Oromia. Therefore, the Amhara will become an extreme secessionist movement. Then, the Ethiopiawinet will vanish from the minds of the Amhara and other ethnic groups. Jawar and the OLF, deviously and systematically support the Amhara resistance to achieve their goals which is a sinister idea that could have dramatic results.  

In spite of this, the Amhara protesters in Gondar showed their solidarity with the Oromo protesters by saying that "Oromo's blood is my blood, stop killing our brothers". This slogan made the Ethiopians come together against the fascist regime, which effectively exposed the TPLF's ploy, 'divide and rule' of the last 25 years. It is true that the regime was seen panicking when the Oromos and the Amharas marched together to give voice to the voiceless. These two ethnicities were rifted and looked at each other as enemies for the last 25 years by the TPLF's fabulist propaganda. 

 Funny enough, while the Oromo and the Amhara youth were protesting in every city in the country against the TPLF brutal rule, the Diaspora Oromo extremists instantly held a convention in London that announced to destroy Ethiopia, which halted the impending departure of the TPLF rule.  It seems the OLF politicians are detached from the real political issues when the Oromos are killed and massively arrested by the TPLF, the OLF hypes their old and moribund secessionist agenda that helps the TPLF to stay in power. That is why I am forced to say Jawar is an amateur politician. Politicians should be very wise and systematic to know well the time and condition regarding how to win the enemy, but the OLF never comes out from its own political quagmire. 

I have recently listened to a comparison analogy about the Ethiopian identity from one of the hate preachers, an OLF extremist who lives in Australia. He was trying to explain that there is no such thing as Ethiopian identity. In other words, he was trying to tell us his contempt that "Oromo nation," which has been colonized by Ethiopia, and the Oromos are forced to accept the Ethiopian identity by Minelike. I can infer this from his fatuous utterance. This extremist should have a better understanding of the Ethiopian identity before Minelike was born. This is not a new denial of the Ethiopian national identity by the OLF, it has continued for over fifty years, and maybe this extremist thinks that his new distorted rhetoric could be a new political strategy for the OLF. Talking about the Ethiopian identity is a very impolitic idea at this point unless the goal is to help the TPLF regime to continue killing and arresting the people. However, theEthiopian national identity is an immutable fact. 

 To that extent, when Shabia and Woyanne were in the bush, their hidden political agenda was to evanesce Ethiopia into nonexistence by creating an envious environment between Ethiopia's ethnic groups that leads to the war. For the record, the late Melese openly said that 'Ethiopian history is only 100 years, and its flag is a piece of rag', but when his erstwhile friend, Isayas Afeworki, invaded Bademie, he gave a speech to Ethiopians standing alongside the flag that he belittled to retake Bademie from Shabia by saying that 'Ethiopian history is three thousand years,' which later made him under pain of ignominy. 

As far as I know, the Amhara nationalists are not as narrow minded as the OLF. Everyone knows that when the TPLF seized Addis Ababa, the TPLF's major role was supporting the Bedeno and Arbagugu genocide by campaigning for other ethnic groups to look with an invidious eye upon the Amharas. I have mentioned in my previous pieces the TPLF's diabolical actions against the Amharas. I am so glad that the Amhara resistance is fighting this vampire regime in Gondar without respite that will bring the demise of the TPLF era once and for all. 

Interestingly enough, Sebahat Nega and Samora Yenus the TPLF officials, bragged that they buried the Amhara and the Orthodox church. Obviously, the TPLF could not eliminate the Amhara and the Orthodox church; this was indirectly a threatening message for non- Amhara ethnicities who may try to resist their power that they will have the same fate, what the Amhara had.

 But the heroic Gondare showed its determination more than ever before to curtail the TPLF brutal rule at any cost. It was stupid of the TPLF to undermine the Amharas, who are a ferocious warriors who can not bargain with their identity or land. There is good evidence that the Amhara resistance in Welkait and elsewhere dislodged the TPLF hireling armies within less than a year. The TPLF thinks that annexing fertile lands from Gondar and Wollo by force will bring prosperity for the people of Tigray. Rather, this creates a big enemy that the Tigray people will have to bear the repercussions of with high grimaces on their face from the rest of the Ethiopians.

 Of course, millions of Amharas have been killed by the TPLF for the last 25 years, but the TPLF will pay the price sooner or later. The TPLF, like it or not, the Amhara people are not going to remain silent until they get back their land that was forcefully taken by the expansionist, TPLF regime.  

As I mentioned above Jawar turns his face with his adroit tongue to propel the Amhara nationalist into his dirty ethnic political acrimony that pushes the ethnicities into an endless war, which threatens the existence of Ethiopia as a country. Jawar assumes the non-Oromo opposition party is an Amhara party, as if the Amhara ethnicity is the arch-enemy of the Oromo ethnicity; whereas the Oromo and the Amhara lived peacefully side by side for thousands of years. That is how history has been written. 

 If I recall correctly, about five years ago, the OLF was lead by General Kemal Gelichu, and G7 was lead by Dr. Berhanu Nega. These parties announced that they would work together and their announcement was posted on several Ethiopian outlets. Then quickly, Jawar wrote an article criticizing the G7, which was posted on Ethiomedia and entitled "The 'new' OLF: Much ado about nothing." Jawar decries that the OLF has been hijacked by the G7. He insinuates that the G7 is an extreme Amhara party.

 Finally, I have been extremely critical of the Oromo extremists and the way that they poison the minds of the Oromo youngsters to have repugnance towards Amharas. It does not matter that Jawar is an adroit speaker, it is obvious he is not very adroit when it comes to Amhara nationalism. The Amhara resistance will never be enticed by Jawar's recent venomous speech that promotes secession element, is a sign of a criminal epidemics that affects society.

I have just listened to an interview given by Mekonnen Yelewem-Wessen Weldegebriel on SBS radio based in Australia saying that Welkait was not part of Gondar.  Also, he told to the interviewer that he is of Amhara ethnicity, and since Welkait is part of Tigray, the people have nothing to do with the Amhara Kilil, it has to do with Tigray Kilil.  The journalist, from SBS radio asked him a pivotal question, if he could prove that Welkait was historically part of Tigray. Mekonnen tried to prevaricate when the journalist asked him pointed questions. He repeatedly said with an insolent voice, "I am speaking right now about Qimant, Welkait is in the Tigray region, and Welkait has no connection with the Amhara region."  And "scientifically and politically," Welkait belongs to Tigray, and Amhara has no "mandate" to speak about Welkait. Of course, 'ዉሻ እበላበት ይጮሃል!' it was expected from such an obtuse individual who has luck of historical knowledge which he could not even aver that Welkait was not part of Gondar. This traitorous human being is an imbecile who tries to ostracize the people of Welkait Tsegede from the Amhara society to please the TPLF which is impossible.  As a matter of fact, I was not surprised by this TPLF's surrogate frivolous talk. I would be surprised if he seemed reluctant to answer all the questions asked by the journalist.   Thus, this cold-blooded renegade Amhara tried to prove that he is real a servitor of TPLF by distorting the history of Welkait. I am not sure if Mekonnen is really an Amhara, but it does not matter whether he is an Amhara or not; there are many "Hodam" Amharas that killed Amharas. Sadly enough, this is the guy who calls himself an Amhara and he represents the Amharas whereas the TPLF cadres kill and incarcerate innumerate Amharas. I assumed, this individual is one of the members of the Amhara National Democratic Movement(ANDM) who justifies the TPLF's atrocities on the people of Welkait.  It is not a secret, that this person and his likes were purposely hired to suppress the movement of the Amhara people in order to achieve the TPLF's goals. It is true that TPLF has been remunerated those they believe are loyal to Woyanne and to carry out the TPLF's unlawful acts and instructions without hesitation. TPLF-Woyanne respect and rewards people who do their dirty jobs to fulfill their wishes and interests.  So, Mekonnen Yelewem-Wessen Weldegebriel is one of the hired killers who executes dirty jobs for TPLF-Woyanne. Let me jot down some facts for the younger generation on how TPLF created the Amhara National Democratic Movement (ANDM). Before the Derg was deposed, Woyane had controlled the whole Tigray and then, the TPLF found out that there was no way to communicate with the outside world, and Tigray as a nation could not get recognition by other countries. Not only that, Tigray by itself, would not survive without the rest of Ethiopia. Then, they decided to discuss with their ally namely Shabia how to control the whole country, and started hatching an anti-Amhara individuals like: Tamrat Layne, Addisu Legesse, Bereket Simon, Tefera Walewa, and Helawi Yoseph who led the EPDM which was created as the puppet of Woyane, and latter the Ethiopian people's National Democratic Movement(EPDM) was renamed to Amhara National Democratic Movement (ANDM) which was  purposely created to demonize the Amhara. These idiots and perfidious people were not even an Amhara. Then, after the seizure of Menilik palace, the TPLF made Tamrat Layne, a nominal prime minister, in order to consolidate their power.  Sadly enough, Tamrat Layne was prime minister during the time many Amharas were slaughtered in Arbagugu and in Bedno, and these horrendous crimes were justified by Tamrat Layne. These bogus individuals had played a key role in convincing the young Amharas to become the Woyane's foot-soldiers, and to fight persistently against the Derg to bring Woyane to power.  At the same time, these pseudo Amharas were disseminating lies through propaganda in Amharic on the radio to the Amharas to make them believe that EPRDF is a democratic government which will return the land and the properties to the people which were confiscated by the Derg. Leaving the lies aside, the TPLF/ ANDM, whether you believe it or not, Welkait is part of Gondar and its people are an Amharas; no document or lore states that Welkait was part of Tigray. The TPLF-Woyanne regime has to think twice before making an irrevocable mistake between the people of Amhara andTigre. To change someone's identity by mass killing, kidnapping, raping and looting innocent civilians is not a long lasting victory, but a transient one which will have grave consequences to the TPLF and its cronies. As it is known since TPLF came to power, thousands of people in Welkait have been savagely tortured and killed for no reason asking their legitimate rights.  The TPLF regime is indiscriminately killing, arresting, beating, and severely torturing the innocent people in Welkait which is a systematic genocide. To refute my claim, anyone can check the interview by the journalist Muluqen Tesfaw. He disclosed how the Amharas are the downtrodden people in Ethiopia. Despite all the excruciating pain the TPLF-Woyanne inflicts upon the people of Welkait, the people are determined to fight for their fundamental identities, and for their ancestral land where the TPLF confiscated by force.  Recently, the people of Dabat showed their power against the Woyanne's cadres who came to loot their properties which was a very courageous phenomenon. The TPLF brags that they are the only brave ones and know how to pull the trigger,  and other people are not brave as they are.  This is pure stupidity and a decadence ideas of the TPLF regime tries to intimidate the armless people to stay in power in order to exploit and accumulate a colossal wealth.  The funny thing is that the TPLF cannot discern that true power comes from the people which was proven in Libyaand Tunisia where perhaps the Woyanne regime needs to learn from.  As already witnessed in Gondarand in the Oromo region, the people's uprising has begun where the minority regime seems unable to control it.  Therefore, the TPLF's  bragging is an empty echo. When it comes to Mekonnen Yelewem-Wessen Weldegebriel's rhetoric, as I mentioned above, he unequivocally said in public that the identity of the Welkait people is an identity of the Tigre. By saying this, he receives the accolade from his bosses. Do the Amharas have to remind Mekonnen Weldegebriel of the unspeakable atrocities committed against the Welkait people by him and his likes ?  It is clear that the TPLF is an archenemy of the Amhara, but at this point the most dangerous enemy of the Amharas is the TPLF servitors like Mekonnen in which all the Amharas should be vigilant.         Mekonnen's utterance is preposterous and has no a substance regarding the people of Welkait identity.  I boldly want to tell to  Mekonnen Weldegebriel that killing and detaining the people of Gondar to fulfill the interest of the TPLF, cannot mute the struggles of the people of Gondar; it can more intensify them rather than.  It is unlikely, Mekonnen can live life happy till TPLF is alive, but Mekonnen cannot wear-down the identity of Welkait by attrition.

Why does the government allow the extremist to burn Churches in Silte and Gondar?

Recently, I have watched a shocking and a delirious video which was showing that Muslims went on a rampage and burned the churches in Silte.  A large numbers of Muslims were surrounding the burning church and romping, saying "Allah Akbar."  I also saw the victims, Christians, who live in the vicinity, come out massively shouting and angrily crying looking for protection.  Something stunned me!  Woyane officials even did not show up to stop the incident.  This was outrageous, and the government purposely did it to infuriate all the Christians in the country, and to instigate a religious war between Islam and Christianity in the country.  These horrendous crimes should be strongly condemned by all Ethiopians. Such extremists (Jihad) should be considered heathen by both peace loving Muslims and Christians. Obviously, this is a government's decoy to create a commotion between Christians and Muslims which have lived peacefully side by side for a thousand years.  As history tells us, Christianity and Islam have had deep historical roots in Ethiopia.  For example, "Islam was introduced to Ethiopia in 615 AD when the followers of Prophet Mohammed, including his wife sought refuge in Aksum."  Despite that fact, Ethiopiais one of the oldest states in the world which accepted the two majors religions, Christianity and Islam, where both these people respectfully exercising their own religion peaceably in the country. Nonetheless, the Saudi business man, Alamode coordinated with Woyane, and introduced a new religion is called "Wahabism" which is a terrorist and a violent form of Islam, which pretty much advocates Jihad. Despite this, many mosques built in Ethiopia the last twenty years were financed by Saudi Arabian government through Sheikh Alamode.  Since then, many young Ethiopian Muslims are bribed and brainwashed to become a followers of "Wahabism" and started hating Christians. We should not forget that Saudi Arabia is a fundamentalist state and unopened society which had been supporting anti- Ethiopian oppositions.  For example, the last three decays, the secessionist was largely financed by Saudi Arabia which was designed to make Ethiopian dismember and land-lock.  I was surprised that when I heard from young Muslim Ethiopian that Ahmed Gragn is his hero.  This is not an irrelevant issue because many young Muslims are practicing  "Wahabism" that is jihad, plunders, conquest, intolerance, and violence, which are a dangerous and will be impending, unless people as a whole wisely prevent it.  A few years ago, in Jimma and some other regions, extremists killed Christian followers and burned the churches.  Sad enough, the Woyane government did not take serious actions on these extremists.  Again now, it is happening in Guragay and in Gondar.  Let us wait and see if there will be debuting more burning churches.  Well, preaching hatred in the minds of our youth, goes contrary to our cultural values and principles.  Of course, Woyane uses any means necessary overt or covert to stay in power. It should be noted that, the majority of Ethiopian Muslims are followers of Sunni Islam.  There has never been a serious religious conflict in Ethiopia. Historically, Muslim and Christian, beside their religions, they firmly hold their believe in Ethiopia-ness.  Even though, in some areas, Muslims and Christians are intermarry.  When it comes to their intermarriage, their religion is irrelevant, meaning that both couples give more priority to their marriage rather than religion, and this has been unique and exemplary to others. Reasonably speaking, before Woyane came to power, I did not hear or see any religious conflict any where in Ethiopia.  For instance, Muslims in Gondar and Tigray are a minority, especially in Tigray.  I can say that the people were almost homogeneous, but there were a few Muslims habitants, and used to live in peace and harmony.  Who knows now! It is undeniable that during the reign of king Haile Selassie, the Orthodox church had more privileges than Islam, because traditionally the Orthodox part of the government, and had a deep connection with the king.  To that extent, the Orthodox Church had to support whomever became king.  Even though, there were no significant revolts by any Muslims against Christians. I am sure my Ethiopian Muslims would not agree with me on this issue, but it is a fact.  That was the nature of the feudal system. I rather would like to argue that it was a huge class disparity amongst the people during the king's reign. It is true that the wealthy people did not associate with poor people, but only with members of their own class.  This system did not only exist in Ethiopia; it happened in many other countries too.  However, we did not have ethnic line divisions and religious conflicts.  Albeit, during the king and the Derg, the big business men were Muslims.  To my opinion, Muslim parents did not encourage their children to focus on education, but they taught their children to follow in their foot-steps.  Maybe I could be wrong, but I am saying this based on my own observations and experience. Quite often, I hear some defamations of king Haile Selassie that Muslims had a hard time to obtain a job because their names were Muslim, and in order to get hired in any offices in the country, the Muslims had to change their names to a Christian one.  This outrageous information was disseminated from Woyane cronies to incite the Muslims discontent of Christians.  Of course, the anti-Ethiopian forces were using sophistry, if they are not plain lying.  As for me, it is hard to believe that would happen to Muslims!  I am not defending the Haile Selassie government; I am trying to know the veracity of these allegations Let me come to the main point of this article which to plead to my Ethiopian Muslim brothers and sisters that burning churches and killing innocent Christians does not bring any solutions, and this is an ominous for our society.  I am sure such acts are a sin even in the Quran.  Silte Muslims have the right to choose to be a Guragay, or they can be an Arab as long as they do not violate other rights. At the end, the above aforementioned  about "Wahabism," the Muslims, in Ethiopia should re-examine and avoid participating in such a radical religion that is teaching hatred and violence.  Instead, we should lead our lives peacefully and work hard to make the country prosperous where people live in freedom and in harmony with one another and nature.

The people of Gondar will never back down for the expansionist Tigray People Liberation Front, TPLF

Since 1991, the people of Welkait Tsegeday and Humera have been murdered and demonized by the Tigray People Liberation Front, TPLF to extend their borders to the Sudan by annexing the arable lands ofGondar to create the 'greater Tigray.'  The TPLF's goal was not covert for most of Ethiopians; it was in their manifesto that they would take the portion of Gondar, and Wollo including port of Assab enable them to secede from Ethiopia.  Furthermore, the TPLF's main aim was after it secured the independent 'Republic of greater Tigray,' it would expand its border all the way down to Gambella to obtain agricultural resources to establish a sustainable economy. There is sufficient evidence that the recent infantile and ridiculous map posted on Ethiopians social media where people could not even believe how these block-headed people disdain and undermine the intelligences of the Ethiopian people.  No wonder, the late tyrant Prime Minister had a purpose in building the Hedase Dam between the border of Benishangul and Sudan, because the 'greater Tigray' would have an access for hydroelectric power. Of course, according to the new map, Benishangul and Gambella regions are incorporated to 'greater Tigray,' but I am all agog to see when this silly dream comes true. For that matter, Benishangul was part of Gojam; and this is obviously the TPLF's big scheme to engulf the Amhara by the anti-Amhara where the chances are high for the Amhara to become a minority and economically scrounger of the new 'greater Tigray.'  This is a deliberate action of the TPLF to eliminate the Amhara populations. This is a shallow far-fetched and unrealistic wishful-thinking and hopscotching of the TPLF. Right now, the TPLF is clandestinely murdering and torturing the people of Welkait for being an Amhara and evicted by force from their ancestral lands.  Hence, the Woyanne Tigre is trying to achieve its goal by killing and mass incarcerations on the Welkait Tsegeday, and Humera people but these heinous crimes on innocent civilians, will quickly cause the demise of the TPLF's power.  Of course, at this point the brutal regime got an army who clings tightly to the people of Gondar, and its force engages in the systematic murder of as many as thousands of civilians, whom are Amharas.  This vampire regime should learn from Adolph Hitler, how he massively executed the innocent Jewish civilians for not being Aryan race, but killing six million Jewish people, it did not save him from the crimes he committed. The same is true that Woyanne Tigre cannot avoid accountability of the crime they committed to the Welkait Tsegeday people. In spite of the aforementioned above, the Tigray People Liberation Front (TPLF) formed 1976 to liberate Tigray from Ethiopia supporting by the Eritrean People Liberation Front (EPLF) receiving money and weapons.  The EPLF supported the TPLF because the latter formed a buffer between Ethiopian army and Shabia.  At the same time, the TPLF accepted that the "Eritrean question is a question of colony" which was helpful for the TPLF to survive during its early years.  On the same token, the time was very favorable for the TPLF because the Soviet Union had fallen apart and the Ethiopian government could not get military aid.  Primarily, the Woyanne was fighting for the independence of Tigray, and they had no intention to control the whole country, it was just a serendipitously coincided for the TPLF to climb to power. Otherwise, it would be hard for Woyanne Tigre to win the war before the Soviet Union succumbed.   To come to the point, the TPLF's savagery action on the Amhara people, will have a grave repercussion for the TPLF and its   supporters.  As history tells, the Oromo, Amhara, and the Tigre people who peacefully lived side by side for thousand and thousand years, for which they fought the foreign invasion. One example is King Yohanes who died fighting with the enemy in Metema which ceded to Sudan by the TPLF.  And now the TPLF reversed the history by implementing language based federalism where delineated a boundary between the ethnic groups which creates animosity among the people of Ethiopiato prolong its power. I do remember during the Derg epoch, there were many Tigres who lived in Gondar and Dessie who were successful in businesses and in many other areas.  Certainly during that time, I did not see any Gondare or Wolloye who had an enmity towards to those affluent Tigres. Now, my sense tells me that the Amhara's affinity towards any Tigres might not be there any more, because the Woyanne regime armed its own ethnicity to trigger the gun on the Amhara ethnicity to silence and live in fear.  It is true that the TPLF has been playing a docile role in order to stay long in power by training the Tigre ethnicity to spy other ethnicities.  Right now, the Woyanne Tigre is cruelly killing and throwing in jail the innocent people of the Welkait Tsegeday, Humera, Tselemit, and Armacho for being an Amhara. Thanks to Messay Mekonnen and Kasshun Yilma, the ESAT journalists who are indefatigably exposing and updating what TPLF is doing every day to an unarmed people of Welkait. At this point, for the people of Welkait, it is beyond an identity; the Woyanne Tigre is aiming the Welkait-Amhara people to wipe out from their ancestral domain to replace its own ethnicity. This is a systematic ethnic cleanse and genocide to the people of Welkait, and this has to be strongly condemned by the international human rights. Nevertheless, the TPLF, whatever excruciating pain does to people of Welkait Tsegeday, there is no way around the brutal regime will confiscate by force the land of Gondar. Arresting, torturing, and killing the people of Welkait, it will make the Amharas united and stronger than ever before to defend their identity.  As Malcolm X stated out  "Any time you beg another man to set you free, you will never be free. Freedom is something that you have to do for yourselves.”   It is true, otherwise the fate of the Amhara is to be a servitor for the TPLF oligarchy.   I call for the Tigryan communities staunchly and unequivocally to denounce such injustice, sadistic and irresponsible act on the Welkait Tsegeday, and Humera people. The TPLF's venture is a foolish mistake to make the Tigre and the Amhara turn against each other to advance its own advantages. As being said, people must not forget one thing that the present regime is not lifeless or extant, they will die like everybody else sooner or later, and the people of Tigray should not be aiding and abetting the TPLF to kill the people of Welkait Tsegeday. I read an interview given by Ghelawdewos Araia which is a frivolous and falsified story. This does not surprise me ; this shallow individual has an identity crisis.  As I heard from a true Tigryans, he and his parents were Eritrean born, and he does not know much about Tigryans. I assume that he has to try hard to prove more concern about Tigryan matters by giving a preposterous information than native Tigryan. He reminds me during the Derg, Ethiopian born Eritreans were more devoted in supporting the Shabia than the native born Eritreans, especially, half Amhara and half Eritrean, half Oromo and half Eritrean were anti Amhara, and this was fact. Now after they realized what is going on in Eritrea, they are the number one Ethiopians. I have had friends whom I coalesced with and at one time said to me that they are not Ethiopian, they are Ethiopian by force. Look at Tesfaye Gebreab, what he did and what is doing now.  After TPLF expelled him from the country, he tried to become an OLF to kill the Amhara. Tesfaye even has noconsanguineous of Oromo blood. I do not want to waste time about him and his role is in the record.  I just brought for the information how their attitudes was towards the Amhara. So, the adjunct professor's interview was not telling the facts; it was completely a fabulist history he gave to VOA.  However, at this point his distorting information is irrelevant to Gondare. Look at Getachew Reda and Gebremedhin Araia are the true Tigryans and Ethiopians who are principled and stand for the truth. I have a great respect for them being consistent in what they believe. I hate to say that and it is very disturbing to me when the Amhara elites choose to stay silent while the people of Welkait are murdering by the expansionist TPLF regime.  Look at the Oromo elites came out from where they are to voice their voices for the voiceless Oromos.  As it is known, Amhara is one of the largest ethnic groups in the country, and there are many educated Amharas around the world who are reluctant and uninterested regarding the Amhara issues which is very sad. There are a few Amhara elites who are concerned, but it is not as expected. That is why The TPLF bullying on Amhara by calling them "donkey Amhara." To this end, this is how the ethnocentric regime and their cronies succeeded by using a wonted deception, and to dehumanize the innocent Amhara in Gondar.  This is a barbarous act of the TPLF regime which is unforgettable and will go down in history.  Now, TPLF came to power by force, but whether they likes or not, they will go by force even if it takes time, and this is an inevitable!

Respond to Professor Messay Kebede Article

I barely remember a long time ago, Professor Messay had given a speech at Columbia University and I was there to listen his speech, and his speech was not inspiring to me at all. I can not even recollect the topic of his speech, just that he was speaking about the Amhara ruling class but he did not mention the name of Amhara. I could infer this from his speech. Professor Messay Kebede has subsequently written articles on the current Oromos students uprising in which he urges that the Amharas should join the Oromos' students protests against the Addis Ababamaster plan. Of course, it is everybody's desire that Oromo and Amhara should be united to end the cruel TPLF tyranny regime.  Indeed, Oromos can not win alone against the TPLF; Amhara's participation is very crucial and effective to bring down the TPLF government. It is true that as J.K. Rowling stated, "we are only as strong as we are united, as weak as we are divided." However, I assiduously read his last rebuttal titled  "Then and Now: A Rejoinder to my Critics." Professor Messay seemed disenchanted with Amharas because they did not join the Oromos' students uprising in Ethiopia.  He further said,  "ነገ በኔ ነው" I just would like to remind Professor Messay that, since TPLF came to power, the Amharas have been isolated and targeted for the last 25 years, and certainly, Messay is very aware of what Woyanne did and is still doing to Amharas. I wish the Professor had written similar article criticizing the TPLF/OLF regards to the 1992  mass slaughters of pregnant women and children in Arbagugu and in Bedno where the worst crimes ever committed on the Amharas since Mussolini's aggression in 1935. Not even long ago in Gura Ferda and in Benishangul, the Amharas were expelled by TPLF surrogates and the Professor did not write any article denouncing  these horrendous crimes. I am dumbfounded that the Professor jumps to accusing Amharas not being participated in the Oromos students protest against the master plan. Let me briefly attempt to elucidate to Professor two main reasons why the Amharas lack of participating with Oromos' students protesting against the Addis Ababa master plan. Firstly, Woyane and Shabia sagaciously and systematically designed the ethnic lines of federalism in order to control the country by perpetuating the punitive policies that emphasizing the anti-Amhara ethnic group. This restrain is inimical to the Amharas. Such cunning strategies that enable TPLF to remain in power by creating an envy between ethnic groups, particularly, among Oromo and Amhara. Hypocritically, Woyane tells to Amhara that if Oromo comes to power, your life will be at risk. The same thing, Woyanne tells to Oromo that if Neftegna comes to power again all your properties would be confiscated. So, we are the one who freed you from chauvinist Amhara, and if you try to resist us, you will go back to the system that you had before. Basically, they just made Amhara and Oromo not trust each other. The second reason is that Woyanne quietly annexed large chunks of land from part of Gondar and Wollo to create greater Tigray. After they confiscated the fertile land (especially from Gondar), the TPLF day one, disarmed the people of Gondar, and started eliminating the original inhabitants of Welkait Tsegede, Humera to replace the Tigraians peasants. Since then, the Tigraians peasants became armed to protect the land in the areas where it was ferociously taken from Welkait Tsegede farmers. The indigenous who resisted the TPLF's demonic action, were cruelly executed by Woyanne cadres. Beside this, the whole Amhara regions run by the so called the Amhara National Democratic Movement (as vanguard Amhara party), which purposely created to demonize the Amharas. Realistically speaking, in Oromia region, the people of Oromos are represented by Muktar Kedir and Almaz Mamo who are belonged to Oromo ethnicity, but when it comes to Amhara regions, imagine, the Amharas people are represented by Bereket Simon, Kassa Tekile Berhan, Tsehaye (Tadese Tinqishu), and Helawi Yoseph who are of Tigre ethnicity. These fake Amharas individuals play a big role for Woyanne by quashing the Amhara voices. So, since the Amharas are heavily under controlled and its voices muffled by the ethnic apartheid regime, I don’t see this as an optimal time for Amhara to join the Oromo's protesting at this point. Professor Messay was supposed to look at the other side of the problem: what Amharas endured under the TPLF rule the last 25 years. These are the main reasons halting the Amhara to join the Oromos' students protests against the master plan. In spite of that, I want the viewers to know that I am not trying to instigate the matter for either to reprisal the Amhara on Oromo at this point, I am just trying to acquaint to Professor Messay's views on why Amharas have not instantly joined the Oromo's student protests  against the master plan. Having said that, the Professor's last article insinuates that if the Amhara does not the join the Oromo's students uprising, there will not be unity in the country because unity is the Amhara's strong faith and assumedly if the there is no unity, the Amhara's existence in Ethiopia will be at risk.  In other words, as if the only beneficiary out of unity is Amhara.  As the matter of fact, he is not the only speaking about these issues. There are quite a few secessionists and anti-Amhara who rant on the same ideas. I'd like to reiterate that the article written by Messay is one sided, threatened, and divisive. The professor knows well that the Amharas have been victimized since the TPLF climbed to power. In his single article, I have never seen any criticizing or condemnation for the Woyanne's diabolical crimes against the Amhara ethnic group, and the articles are unbalanced when it comes to the Amharas issues. It is true that the unity of the two large ethnic groups is paramount at this crucial time to bring down the TPLF brutal regime. To the end, the professor's article does not entice the vast majority of Amharas at all. Actually, the article reflects, as if the Amhara ethnic group is uninterested on Oromo causes which aggravates the rift between the two ethnicities instead of bringing a reconciliation where these two ethnicities are able live in harmoniously. It will take time to repair the damage done by TPLF. TPLF's "divide and rule" strategies worked out well for the last 25 years by abetting the extremist to do heinous crimes to innocent Amharas. At the end of the day, Woyanne whatever systems are used to stay in power, it is an inevitable that all ethnicities will ever become united again.
