Christine, herself another victim of Dean Domino, felt guilt for further desecrating Vera Keyes' memory by stealing her voice. While Sun, remembering the legends of the Khans haunted by ghosts' past, was wary of Vera's holographic visage. Together they decided there was only one thing they could do.

Two-hundred years after her death, shrouded in silk linen and wrapped with trinkets and symbols of her life, Vera Keyes was finally laid to rest.

I changed the blood effects on Christine's outfit to me more like what I think the designers were going for. also why she doesn't wear that vest in all of my other drawings. queen get some rest

More Dead Money

I wanted to reflect the feeling I get towards the end of the DLC. It being one of the few safe places to sleep, tripping over the last quest, getting ready to face Eljiha, and being sad that it's nearly over.

So Sun and Christine get their one respite while they figure out what to do next. They also wrap Vera's skeleton in her bed linen to try to appease her spirit and Sun also has a nightmare which I'll hopefully draw about soon.

In Fallout New Vegas there are two very distinct flavours of Punk Anarchist Gay

Not sure if I ever shared my Darion Death-Hand design but here he is!! son of Garl Death-Hand :) i hc that he's the same age exactly as Tandi so 16 in fallout 1 and 96 in fallout 2 <3

Some more headcanons i have for him that are related to this design:

He loves dogs, he singlehandedly developed the Khan dog breed that is still used by 2281, that's a dogwhistle he has around his neck

Vault 15's last working pipboy was in his possession and the Khans took it with them after they fled California, the Khans got it working for him in an attempt to help manage his dementia and in my version of things that's what the Chosen One finds those spy logs on, not the terminal

The patches on his vest are meant to lean into that more outlaw biker aesthetic the Khans hold and that I prefer, with the year being 2161 as his "initiation" because it's when he survived the Vault Dweller (I might change it to 2162 tho because I almost never manage to kill the Khans in fo1 before the end of December)
