A wonderful commission I got to do for @lifeaftermeteor, I’m pretty happy with how it came out!
A scene from their fan fic series ‘Life After Meteor’.

one of the Kentucky tornadoes traveled on the ground 227 miles, supposedly the longest any tornado on record has in the U.S. The death toll in the state is expected to exceed 100
I've been reading about the candle factory collapse and it's just nightmarish.
Why were there workers in the building at all? seriously I barely slept friday night because there were so many tornado warnings going off. The safety measures taken don't seem sufficient

Because it’s December and it has been in my folder for a while.
(These four-panel cartoons originally appeared in “Weekly Shonen Jump” Vol. 4-5 (double issue), 2004. They appear, once again, in Death Note Volume 1.)

"AO3 is a safe space for writers to post without threat of deletion" - but don't writers already have that on their own hard drives, or something like pastebin? I swear, I'm not trying to bad-faith, but do "right to write things without anyone stopping you" and "right to access an audience as effectively as possible" really belong as one?
--
It's irrelevant.
AO3 was set up to preserve fic from deletion. And it fulfills this purpose.
If you want to critique the entire founding philosophy behind AO3, that's totally valid. What you're asking for then is for no archive like AO3 to exist and for fic archiving to look more like Wattpad or FFN. That's a reasonable stance, just one I personally strongly disagree with.
The "stay on your own hard drive" thing goes both ways. I could equally say that readers who don't like AO3's philosophy and style should stay offline--or that they should take the much more reasonable approach of reading fic on one of the many other options out there.
There is no guaranteed right to other people's labor.

can we like…get rid of the so-called leather and rubber “pride flags” ? it’s honestly ridiculous and offensive to the lgbtq community. those aren’t pride flags.
