hi! looking to start a 7 day juice cleanse next week. any advice to start prepping? also if I find different recipes can I mix and match juices throughout the days or is it better to follow a juice plan closely? just looking for a little guidance. thank you so much!
A plan can be good for variety, but I always just mix and match based on what I feel like. I don't even like to stick to recipes very often. If *Taste* is most important to you, then you'll want to stick to some proven recipes, otherwise just try putting everything together. I always do at least one leafy green, and try to have no more than 1 fruit for every 3-4 veggies.
Almost every juice I make has 1 leafy green, 1 lemon, 1 cucumber and 1 green apple. Everything else I just put in based on what I think will go bad the soonest.

Hi! I'm juicing for health (not necessarily weight loss) and I was wondering if you knew anything about juicing + coffee? I know it's important to drink juices on an empty stomach and best first thing in the morning but I love my morning coffee first and will juice an hour or so after finishing it but before eating food. Is this okay? What are you thoughts?
I think that would be fine. If you were doing a juice "cleanse" or "fast" you wouldn't want to have coffee because it's a diuretic and would prevent you from absorbing the maximum nutritional value of the juices (and you definitely need all the nutrition you can get while doing one). Since it seems like you're supplementing a normal diet, waiting an hour should be okay. You can drink a juice anytime, empty stomach or at night, although the later in the day the less and less fruit I'll use in it.

Hi. I just discovered your beautiful blog. Could you tell me how you eat and exercise between juice cleanses? Do you juice between cleanses? Thank you. Nice to meet you.
Hi! We've actually been following each other on my other blog (poldberg) for a while now :)
I like to eat "normally" between juice cleanses. I should eat healthier, but I don't. I like to add juices to supplement my normal/crappy diet. Just doing that, I feel way better than I did before I started juicing.
For exercise, in a normal week I ride my bike 3-6 miles a day up and down the beach. I also go to yoga twice a week (90-minute class). Sometimes I do my own push-ups and sit-ups during breaks from working on the computer. I also play kickball once a week (but that probably doesn't count as a workout).
