Moon 1 Patrols
Moonraven takes the youngins, Hopesnout and Owlnose, out to pick daisies. They're pretty successful and find dandelions too.
Leapstar went on a hunting patrol with Wingspirit and Ratleaf before being overcome by a sudden spring snowstorm. They make a den to survive the weather, and luckily, they all do.

Rest of Luckclan
We have four more cats from Luckclan. Moonraven is our resident medicine cat. Ratleaf, Wingspirit, and Hopesnout are our warriors. I love Hopesnout's white leggings look and Wingspirit's wingy tufts, but Ratleaf being a tabby with rat-looking stripes might be my favorite.

Luckclan Leader and Deputy
Leapstar is the Leader of Luckclan. She's an older cat with a lot of experience who is eager to pass it on to others. She also has a wild side that's willing to bend rules to benefit her clan.
Owlwave is the deputy of Luckclan. She's 22 moons old, but has a great sense of what to do in any given situation. Like her leader, she's a rabblerouser.

Leapstar's Leadership Ceremony
Leapstar was given her first life by Froststar- someone she doesn't recognize but felt like an old friend. Froststar welcomed Leapstar to the mountains with the vague comment, "You brought them back."
With that, Froststar touched noses with Leapstar. "I give you a life for the strength to overcome your fears."
Her remaining lives were given by cats she couldn't see, stars above declaring on high that she would lead her clan well.

Starting a ClanGen comic!
I've been seeing a lot of posts around the internet of people sharing art of their Clans from Clan Gen. I thought I'd give it a go with Luckclan! This ragtag group of eight have settled in the mountains. They will need a lot of luck to survive. Feel free to send asks about the characters. I'll be posting profiles soon.

More pixel art
Since I posted the pixel Wabbits Map, I figured it might be good to share some more pixel are of some main characters. They're not perfect and subject to change, but I though it would be fun to share the whole character development process.
So here's Dawn (upper left) and Fletch (lower right). Dawn is a jawret (and our MC) and Fletch is a starbur.
We also have Tusin, a fauwing. She is going to be a rival/romantic interest for Dawn.
They all look a little funky cause I was committed to keeping the pixel dimensions small, but honestly I'm intimidated to work at larger sizes. I'll keep working on it!

Wabbits Map!
I realized that a lot of my species descriptions go into the species' home turf, and to better visualize that, I decided to make a map! I've been getting into pixel art, so here is my attempt to show the Wabbits World. A lot of small details here are fun ideas than actual locations, but it's fun to goof around and experiment.

Pt. 2
Cerlanx- deer pangolin hybrid. They exist in the most developed nation-state, living in the Oretin Steppe north of the other species. They have brick structures and have begun mining. They have democracy? It’s a mixture of respecting your elders and respecting those who have achieved- aka a meritocracy, but everyone has a say in a herd. Herds interact as trading partners or skirmishes over territory. Their culture values augury/future-seeing as a way of making decisions.
Species for Wabbits Pt. 1
The species for Wabbits are all hybrid creatures- I'm sure most people are familiar with these first three, but they'll get weirder as we expand the (non-existent) Venn diagram.
Starbur- bunny bird hybrid. They tend to nest in the branches of trees. Very quick but also delicate. Help control weather and can use illusions as a distraction. Predators include birds of prey and big cats. They tend to live in big flocks that can watch out for each other’s young. Tend to have sexually dimorphic wing colors.
Fauwing- bird deer hybrid (aka a Peryton). They nest on the ground in small familial herds. They are going from gatherers to farmers which has allowed them to make more permanent earthen homes. They can run and fly but they don’t have great endurance for either. When endangered, they tend to take shelter as opposed to fleeing. They have horns that they use to fight or trough earth- they can also decorate them.
Jawret- bunny deer hybrid (aka a Jackalope). Similar to Fauwing, they live in familial warrens and have horns. They tend to be more solitary than the other species, often tinkering with ores and metals. Some form special connections with beasts, keeping their warrens and villages safe from predators.

Tryna visualize what these characters look like for Wabbits. Bird legs are really weird.
More on the species later.
