Am I becoming a film camera addict? I just bought RicohXR500 and a Sigma Zoom Lens. I’m looking forward for a free-day! God, please give me more time to shoot! 😄 I once told my friend that I was thinking of what I should do with these; these so-called ‘expensive hobby’. My exact words were, “Hanggang kelan ba ganito? Ang alam ko lang masaya ako. Hugot."

I think it is not being expensive this hobby is, I think it is pure art. There is sense of fulfillment and I just enjoy watching the world through the viewfinder.

Unlike digital, there is a sense of surprise in film shooting. But, I also love digital photography. You can easily transfer it on your social media account. And you can try again if the shot isn't good enough. But then, I love what I am doing. That is exactly why I am so into analogue photography.

31JAN17|| 🎞 I went to Quiapo earlier to visit Mang Dong's Camera Repair Shop because I thought that my lens need CLA but one of the technicians told me that my lens is in good condition. So, to maximize my time, I walked along Hidalgo to look for some expired film. I bought those 35mm Konica film at Mayer Photo. I also went to Fujifilm and I've got Fujicolor200 for a very reasonable price. I am very excited to use my RicohXR500 and the Sigma Zoom lens which were recently bought online. This is it! 🤗

I’m back on track! I’m just waiting for another rolls of film to be developed. 🤗

These photos were the result of my inner desire in photography using Asahi Pentax Spotmatic Film Camera. Haha. I’m enjoying it. I will never stop learning. Yes to vintage! Thanks for the cam & to my mentor, Eduardo Uy Jr. & Pia Marie Uy :)
