might be because i'm biased, but i really like the idea of some dude in the resistance being a falconer with a big female goshawk. you know you can train one of those things to attack headcrabs. it's tied with the idea of like rebels trying to protect as much of human culture as they can, and of course someone has to preserve falconry.

i'm doing research for this fic and writing and while doing backgrounds, i vaguely remeber gordon actually having one. so i look it up and okay fandom wiki says it Seattle, but there's no source so i check the wikipedia and this time there IS a source, so i follow that to an internet archive link of a planet half life forum. now it's cool, sim neat backround on HL, just the stuff i need but... i still can't find the citation, OR author. i google it bc i'm young, full of youth and have no clue wtf planet half life is. it's a gaming website owned by ign, staffed by volunteers..... not looking good. so, my question is: where the fuck is my guy from?
