20th BIRTHDAY (part I)

This blog post is very important for me because today is my 20th birthday. I had these roller-coaster emotions weeks ago for the idea of turning 20 because honestly people who have the same age as I am, already accomplished a lot in their life. But the pressure is not that stressing me out because it’s okay if I haven’t accomplished things yet.

Last night, I had this drama of 'sleeping early' because I just don’t want to remind everyone that the next day would be my birthday (which is today). Then so nobody would talk about it. I even deactivated my Facebook account but reactivate it anyways when I woke up in the middle of the night. I didn’t overthink everything too. I just want to make sure that everything would be as silent as possible, that nobody would know that it’s my birthday but it’s impossible, my friends and family knows. Lol

I don’t really want to expect that much because we don’t celebrate birthdays and I used in that kind of family tradition. We don’t celebrate because we couldn’t afford it. Poverty is the reason. But the most important is I am grateful because I refused my drama and ego to control my birthday, this is supposed to be fun, and it does.

Part two of this will be posted later. I just have to run some errands.

THE JOURNEY

My mind told me to write something. Out of nowhere, I found this website and I think it’s a perfect step to start my blog. There are a lot of things I want to share but sometimes it’s more difficult to open up to our closest friends, even to our parents. I always find writing as the best way of expressing myself without regretting anything, and it’s way better than talking. I am terrible at socializing or communication but sure thing, I am trying. This is my first not-so-important blog but I will keep posting about interesting experiences and other things in my life. I just hope this will work. Love! love!
