oh god oH GOD don’t make me choose 

there’s so many thorki fics (and authors) that i adore/envy/worship/cry about that i don’t think i could pick just one 

so here’s a (relatively) short list :D

note: these are not all of my faves, and they aren’t in any particular order. i kind of went through my ao3 bookmarks and pulled out some fics that i’ve read at least three times because i love them dearly. 

note (2): i also tried to limit this to fics that are either finished, or the author is good about updating regularly. (i have some faves that haven’t been updated in so long that i worry they’ve been abandoned ;____;)

what the thunder said (multichapter - complete) by claricechiarasorcha 

this changed my life. you know how sometimes you come up on a story that’s so good, so encompassing, so heart-wrenching, that you have to stop and take a break? this is one of those fics for me. if i could commission a story to be turned into a film, it’d be this one. the plot is amazing, the characterizations are on-point, and the smut is so, so hot. *cries about it again*

out of the mouths of babes (series - complete) / the march of the damned (series - complete) by rynfinity

i love everything that rynfinity writes, but ‘babes’ and ‘damned’ are my fave-o-rites. both series are long and winding, and definitely not for the faint of heart. there are some heavy themes dealt with (drug abuse/addiction, rape, abuse, mental illness, suicidal thoughts/attempts) and it will leave you in pieces again and again. but it’s absolutely gorgeous and i love it so much. and it DOES ends happily, i swear.

okay jenny is great and everything jenny writes is great, but this one has a special place in the cockles of my heart. big grown up, super protective biker thor and loki as his little sweet tart of a charge. you’re crawling the walls as you wait for them to finally FALL IN LOVE AND FUCK and even all through that, there’s drama and intrigue and bad ass biker mama frigga and it’s sooo good.
