Wyonna Earp Debuts at Syfy and Returns to IDW in 2016
Wyonna Earp, a comic book first introduced in 1996 created by Beau Smith is headed towards a spring television debut on the Syfy network. The comic was published by IDW in 2003, and CBR announced a brand new series shipping in February in advance of the show’s debut. The new comic is written by Smith with art from Lora Innes (The Dreamer.) CBR noted that the comic is changing styles to fit more…

The Dreamers have been taking over my blog this month.
If you want to ask any of the cast something, we’re still taking questions!

This was one of my favorite interviews we've ever done on the Paper Wings Show.

I find it so incredibly ironic that the day Chris Oatley’s podcast airs - in which I speak at great length about developing the character of Rapunzel for the movie, Tangled, Variety announces the Tangled TV Show for which I’ve been …developing the character of Rapunzel.
Rapunzel is back, guys.

I wanted a new icon.
I stand on one foot all of the time.
Several years ago I started eating my lunch standing up since I sit at my desk while I draw. And then I started eating my lunch standing on one foot.
When your butt is in a chair most of the time, it’s the little things.

One of my best friends is moving across the country and I’ve been thinking about all of the things I will miss about not having her around every day.
@bludragongal, I adore you. Have a fabulous life in L.A.
I’ll catch up with you on the West Coast.

My friend Thom Zahler asked me to draw the variant cover for the first issue of his new series, Long Distance.
The series is about exactly what you’d think: when flights are canceled and everyone is snowed in at the airport, fate intertwines the lives of two people on a layover.
Full of lovable characters and witty banter, it’s sure to be a great series.
This cute comic will tell you exactly how to order Issue #1, and how to make sure that you get my cover!

The Dreamer reached it’s first goal on Patreon, which means that starting this Wednesday, the webcomic will update twice a week, every week!
Bea was so excited she just had to boogie!

I haven't animated since I graduated from art school. There's a lot of popping in here but I blame that on thirteen years of no-practice.
Shaking off the dust to celebrate The Dreamer's Patreon getting funded!

what kind of sketchbook do you use? (also: when making a comic, how do you keep up with character consistency? my character looks different in all angles...)
Most of my drawing for The Dreamer is done digitally these days. The “sketchbook” I use the most is Sketchbook Pro—I draw The Dreamer entirely digitally using that program.
If I’m laying out a comic page I often take a stack of printer paper and my favorite pen to a coffee shop and doodle on that.
I've been wanting to draw traditionally more, so I'll be using this account to share sketches from here on out!

Change of Direction...
I haven't posted to the Yankee Peddler blog in months so I decided to discontinue it.
I will be using this feed to share my artwork from now on. I've been wanting to sketch more and sharpen my skills. And I noticed that my non-Dreamer related projects were starting to clog up The Dreamer's tumblr feed.
If you were following me because you like history, follow The Dreamer Comic's tumblr instead!
If you follow me because you like my artwork, please stick around!
