I want to make a ‘I shall make a full return soon’ post but we all know that this is a sign of defeat. What I really need to do is rewatch Ghostbusters. Any of them. I need to re-engage with the world as much as I need to re-engage with Erin.
Other than that, it’s pretty obvious I’ve hit a rut here. I need to get more things going, and I need to get some more headcanons rolling. Any nudging toward those is appreciated, and I think I have a few memes in my inbox.
Also I need to get off my ass and make some more icons. KWiig’s facial expressions as Erin do a surprising amount on their own when it comes to inspiring muse.
#ooc#maybe if IDW would reprint the Mass Hysteria hardcover and let me read the last few comics#please IDW I'm begging u give me the goods#my biggest fear is that FF fills the same hole that I previously filled with Erin and Ghostbusters#in the sense of ordinary people touching the otherworldly#and therefore I just won't be able to differentiate them enough to the point where it's fulfilling to write both

hey you! is your muse a paranormal investigator or a ghost? do you have a verse where they one or the other? then this is the post for you! lately there’s been a real surge of these kinds of muses so we might as well be able to find each other for spooky shenanigans!
i’m not gonna make a list out of the muses that reblog this, however, you can take a peek at the notes and whatnot and check out the other muses from there!

reblog this if you love your muse more than canon loves your muse
#I felt this so powerfully that it became my first post in two weeks#doesn't help that even in recent comics Holtz is the only one of the girls getting any major screentime#for obvious reasons of her being the only thing that people loudly and pretty universally liked about the movie#Burnham I know Crossing Over is going to be the final full stop for the Ghostbusters franchise but I'm begging u#water my gilbert crops

What, if anything, do you like to read?
MEET ERIN GILBERT // ACCEPTING
Erin doesn’t tend to read much outside of her field. She keeps an eye on scientific journals, and her office is lined with books relating to both physics and the paranormal. Other than that, she has little interest in reading for pleasure.
She does read fiction, every so often. There’s always a book by her bed, and occasionally she reads through a few pages. It’s probably something by Marg.aret Atw.ood if I’m being honest with myself.
#royalchemy#I hope this answers the question I mean it feels flimsy somehow but it gets the job done alksjldskjs

@thanagrian continued from here!
[text: birdwoman] What’s Deadman’s gimmick again? -E.
[text: birdwoman] Actually, no, I don’t think I want to know. -E.
[text: birdwoman] Though, if you want the short answer, it depends on what he’s made of. If he’s a disembodied spirit, or otherwise a spectral mass held together by a central consciousness, then sure! -E.
[text: birdwoman] I’m not sure what would happen if we tried to shoot a zombie. Probably the same thing that happens if you shoot a human. Which is very bad and you should never do it under any circumstance. -E.

Raise your hand if you’ve adopted a unappreciated character that the writers clearly didn’t love and decided to love them with all your heart because they deserve more than what they fucking got in canon.
