Barred Owl

Several winters ago I found this Barred Owl resting in a tree. Gradually, after a few visits, it became accustomed to me. I have visited it every winter in this same tree and it shows no fear during my visits. This November marks our eighth winter. I am glad to see it doing well and I hope the feeling is mutual.
