some parting thoughts before i disappear for a little bit

I want to go on a date to the cemetery. We can take pictures there and be edgy for The Aesthetic, but we would really be there to steal last names from the gravestones. We come up with the stories of different people's lives as we lovingly and respectfully borrow their names, and we aren't some of those dumb kids who hang out in cemeteries to look cool. We've got a purpose, and we don't mean any harm.

I wish that I could take you with us to Steak & Shake after our Friday night performance during play season. I wish that you could be around to come to my plays, and then we could go on fun after-dark dates afterward, just driving around and listening to music with the windows down even though it's cold and even though we might have school the next morning. I wish you lived closer. I wish I could hug you in person.

I want to take you on a date to a bookstore. I want to accidentally lose you in the stacks because both of us are looking for a book to buy each other, and then hug you tight when I find you again. I want to giggle in between the shelves, trying to keep quiet because there's nobody else in the store but us. I want to take you to the coffee shop next door. I want to buy you something sugary so that you'll like it, and I want to read to you lines from my favourite book while we sit across (1/2)

(2/2) each other in a booth. I want to stay there until it gets dark outside, and then go for a walk in the cool fall air, walking just about as far as we can before turning back into town and driving home.

I want to have a lazy day of just making pastry with you where we get flour everywhere and make a huge mess, but at the end of the day we get to eat yummy pastry, and we've had a good time and it was a day where not a whole lot was important but having fun and the fact that we love each other

I want to have a date where we write a story together on my typewriter, switching back and forth between paragraphs, leaning against each other, giggling at the stupid stuff we write, getting annoyed because Howard's h key doesn't work, just having fun and spending time together and doing the whole writing thing.

Hullo, this is your daily friendly anon stopping by to say that I would really love to just have a date where we make waffles together on a Saturday morning and then go to a farmer's market and then spend the morning at a cute little bookstore, going out to lunch at a little cafe and then going to see a movie and somewhere nice for dinner, and then stargazing to end the day, out in the middle of a field cuddling. :)

Hi. :) I would love to just go on a study date with you. Just you and me, sitting on our respective sides of the table, each doing our homework, drinking Starbucks or something equally as sugary, trying our best to stay focussed, but every once in a while just glancing up at each other, sharing little smiles, enjoying each others' company and the atmosphere, and just having the chillest time, because the only thing we have to worry about is due dates.

What's, like, you're ideal date?

I love love love going on walks. I think I would like to bring them flowers, then walk up to the starbucks by my house, buy my partner and I drinks, and then we could go sit on a hill sometime and talk and share music. We could walk back in the evening and they could wear my jacket, which i bought specifically to share with cute people. (sidenote: I get people flowers a lot, yknow like in movies, and an unexpected question is what to do with the flowers when you go to the actual date. still don’t have a good answer.)

I would love to go on a date with you to the Michigan Dunes, and we could have a picnic up there, and spend the whole day just standing in the water, letting the waves hit us and holding hands, finding cool rocks and shells for each other, and getting burnt and exhausted from all the sun exposure, and then going for ice cream and fries, and just watching the sun set over the water.

That sounds so nice ilysm !!!!!!!! I love rocks, I keep a jar of them and color code them with thread so I know where I got them from. I literally decided to tell my (now ex) that I loved him because he brought me some rocks from his vacation lmao.

I love beaches too, it’d be so fun to play with the sand and build a little house, and we could walk and talk in the shallow part of the water :)

I want to go on a date where we take a roadtrip at night, and drive for hours and sing along to all of our favourite songs and hold hands and then stop somewhere and just stargaze and like give each other lil kisses and just be all cute and shit

I haven't sent one of these in a while, and I'm sorry, because I've been preoccupied with school, but I want to go on a date with you where all we do is cuddle and drink hot chocolate and hold hands while we binge watch all of The Good Place, because Eleanor and Chidi are like my new ultimate OTP and I just finished season two, and I didn't think that I could love that show or that couple more than I already did, but boy was I wrong.

If we were dating, I would bother you so much more than I do already. I would just constantly remind you how much I love you, and I would wrap you up in blankets anytime you were really tired or just sad or not feeling the best and hug you lots (unless you weren't in the mood for hugs) and give you cookies (even though I'm bad at baking cookies) and sit you right next to my diffuser for the good vibes and just always cuddle you and make sure you knew that I loved you but also give you space(1/2)

(2/2) if you needed it and I would read to you at night time and maybe give you little smooches and take you on all the cute dates and wow this is a lot, but I just love you sooooo much and I would love to be dating even if that’s not an option right now (and yes, I’m fully aware that it is my fault that we’re not dating, and I still stand by the decision even if I wanna date you rly bad) ily
