I'm so fucking scared of what's going to happen. I can't stop crying. I'm still in school but I can't imagine a future here now everything's so bleak.

i know it's very very scary, i'm not even going to sugarcoat it, things will get bad. but pushing back is important. i'm older and done with school but god i feel so bad for the students right now. history revisionism under them is going to be inevitable and censorship is going to be rampant so preserving documents about the true history is essential. Digitalize everything, ask friends from other countries to keep copies, fact check everything and don't keep quiet. global fascism is growing thanks to disinformation in social media platforms, radical truth is important now more than ever.

What the fuck???!!!! Why are clients cancelling commissions from Filipino artists that makes no sense????? How is an art commission equivalent to supporting a dictator?

Racism lol. The way the world responds when first world western countries are in crisis is vastly different from how people respond to asian third world countries when we're in crisis. It's very offensive that this is happening, especially since a majority of the Filipino artists you find online are vocally against the government despite the dangers. The artist community here has always done its best to fight against censorship and disinformation throughout history.
