I think one of the things that annoyed me the most in Stranger Things 3 was how avoidable all of the deaths were. For instance, Suzie not forcing Dustin to sing would have saved Hopper and Billy’s life. Joyce’s arms being a little longer/her not hesitating would have saved Billy’s life (and Hopper’s?Maybe?). Alexei staying in the car would have saved his life. It’s so much easier to accept a death if it was inevitable, but I just felt like they were there to make viewers sad, not for the plot.
