Silent Sanctuary is a 4-piece band consisting of Raymund “Sarkie” Sarangay (vocals/guitars/keyboards), Anjo Inacay (cello), Jason Rondero (bass guitar/backing vocals), and, Allen Calixto (drums). They were formed 2001 starting with 3 members namely Norman Dellosa, Paolo Legaspi, andAllen Calixto. Later on, ups and downs happened but they manage to keep the band alive with its current members. They have released 5 albums ‘Ellipsis of the Mind (2004)’, ‘Fuchsiang Pag-Ibig (2007)’, ‘Mistaken for Granted (2009)’, ‘Monodramatic (2013)’, and ‘Langit Luha (2015)’. And in every one of those albums, there are songs that stuck with us to this day. The outstanding band achieved so much in their career. To name a few of their achievements, back in 2006 the bagged the In The Raw Award at the NU Rock Awards, their songs ‘Ikaw Lamang’ and ‘Rebound’ placed second and forth the RX 93.1’s Top 7 OPM Year Ender Countdown back in 2007, and they are always nominated in multiple categories in MYX Music Awards

Aegis is a Filipino pop rock band formed in 1995. Formerly known as AG’s Soundtrippers in clubs and lounges all over Japan. The band is composed of sisters Juliet, Mercy, and Ken Sunot on lead vocals, only-male member Rey Abenoja on vocals and guitars, Stella Pabico on keyboards, Rowena Adriano on bass guitar and Vilma Goloviogo on drums. The group changed its name to Aegis (which means “shield” or “protection”) upon signing with Alpha Records in 1998.The band’s songs were featured in the musical Rak of Aegis. We’re faced with all the 6 members of the Aegis Band, five girls and a man, whom the girls tease as already being like one of them. The band members are just as grateful to their composer, Celso Abenoja, and their managers, Mr. Solito and Mrs. Josie Galindo. Ben&Ben, formerly known as The Benjamins, is a folk pop/pop rock band in the Philippines. Formed in 2015, the band has since been known for their popular hits such as “Pagtingin” and “Lifetime”, among others. One of the most popular acts nationally, they are ranked as the number one most streamed Filipino artist on Spotify for two straight years in 2020 and 2021. They have won several awards, including multiple Awit Awards, Myx Awards, and Wish Awards. Their debut studio album Limasawa Street was certified 3× Platinum in the Philippines by PARI earning 45,000 copies. Before Ben&Ben became Ben&Ben, they were The Benjamins, with twins Paolo and Miguel Guico sharing vocals and guitar duties, and Paolo also playing the keys. Floppy-haired and still fresh from their PhilPop success, Paolo and Miguel launched their self-titled debut EP, changing their name from The Benjamins to Ben&Ben. Ben & Ben has since released a new single titled “Magpahinga.” The single is a (baby grand) piano decked number featuring keyboardist-pianist Pat Lasaten. Ang kanilang genre sa musika ay alternative rock at pop rock. Kilala sila sa kanilang mga viral composition sa online. Isa rin sila sa most streamed OPM bands of all time.

Kabilang sa bandang ito sina Zel Bautista; ang kanilang vocalist at acoustic guitarist, Jem Manuel na kanilang lead guitarist, Don Gregorio; ang kanilang bass guitar, Jet Danao; ang drummer at backing vocalist, at si Gelo Cruz na naka assign sa keyboards at isa ding backing vocalist.

PAROKYA NI EDGAR

Isa sa pinaka sikat na banda sa Pilipinas ang Parokya ni Edgar. Ang genres nila ay ang mga alternative rock, pop rock, pop punk, experimental, novelty, rap, funk at Original Pinoy Music (OPM).

Nabuo sila noong 1993 na kinabibilangan nina Chito Miranda- ang kanilang lead vocalist, Darius Semana- ang lead guitarist, Gab Chee Kee- ang rhythm guitarist, Dindin Moreno- ang kanilang drummer, at ang pang huli ay si Vinci Montaner- ang kanilang back up vocalist.

Kilala ang Parokya ni Edgar sa kanilang original pop, rock at novelty na mga kanta. Sila ay nagbibigay inspirasyon sa mga rock bands. Sila ay nakikilala rin bilang “The National Band of the Philippines”.
