My testimony of the forgiving and saving power of Jesus Christ
Part One: Discovering The Reality that you and I and the whole world exist in, and why the Good News about Jesus is GOOD!!
God made Angels to be His companions in His heavenly Kingdom. At some point, some Angels decided to rebel against God. They became the enemy - the devil/satan, and his demons, and were cast out of Heaven.
To share His love with us, God made humans to be His children. He made the first male and female perfect, whole. To love Him and each other and themselves, and to want only goodness and love for each other and themselves. And since God made us, we are good. Very good. Worthy of love, happiness, life, respect.
In his hatred for God, the enemy set his hatred on humanity, to destroy and to drag it to hell with him.
So he tricked Adam and Eve into disobeying God, to eat the forbidden fruit in the Garden of Eden.
Their choice of disobedience gave the devil and his demons entry into the world and into humanity – bringing their evils of wrong-doing, death, sickness, war, suffering.
Adam and Eve’s humanity was broken by this evil. This brokenness is called the sin nature and every human being has inherited this sin nature.
In His love, God sent Jesus, so that through His Cross and Resurrection, humanity can be healed and restored to our original perfection, and evil can be overcome.
And so since Jesus came, every person now has a choice to make:
1: to be in relationship with God. To receive Jesus as the only one who can save you from your wrong-doing, brokenness. To confess your wrong-doing to Jesus, to be forgiven, and to let Him heal you and to teach you everyday to follow His Way, His Commandments, as a child of God. To bring God’s Kingdom of Heaven into the world, to fight away the demons and wrong-doing and sickness and war and suffering. To know that God as a good Father, Jesus as the most best friend, through His Holy Spirit of love, will be with you to get you through whatever trouble, sickness, pain you experience. To pass through death into eternal life in Heaven.
2: or to not be in relationship with God. To reject Jesus and to continue in doing wrong. Taking the risk that this choice may mean choosing hell. That however unintentionally, this choice gives demons access to the world and your life, with their evil and suffering and brokenness and disorder and dysfunction.
—-+—-
Since choosing Jesus in 2014, I have come to know the depth of God’s power, love and healing and happiness, and have been spiritually and physically healed and cured from multiple demons, wrong-doings, misguided behaviours, dysfunction, disorder, diseases like:
+ Lack of self worth/dignity/respect
+ Loneliness
+ Self harm
+ Self punishment
+ Shame and guilt
+ Anxiety and fear
+ Depression / borderline personality disorder/ disassociative disorder / manic disorder / attachment disorder
+ Menstrual disorder
+ Suicidal thoughts, urges, attempts
+ Anorexia
+ Alcoholism
+ Addiction
+ Anger
+ Hatred
+ Revenge/violence - idolizing school shooters, other shoots/killers
+ Racism / KKK / Nazi
+ Bisexual / LGBT lifestyle
+ Porn addiction
+ sexual immorality
+ magic / new age / witchcraft
+ The whole horror genre of music, movies, etc
+ The Gothic lifestyle
+ Satanic / demonic practices
+ And a whole lot of “underground” practices / realms of darkness and immorality
So I share The Good News of Jesus, personally knowing that the goodness of God and the freedom and life and light is available for every person,
that Jesus wants to bring salvation and forgiveness and new life to the most broken, darkest places in our hearts and lives - that it is never too late, no one is ever too far gone, no one is ever too lost.
If you have disbelief, doubt, fear, uncertainty, anger about Jesus, about God, – you can tell Him that. No matter how you feel about Him, you can call out to Him and He will respond.
Everyday, you can just simply say to Him, in your heart, out-loud what you’re feeling. Ask Him to forgive you, to save you, ask Him to fill you with His love, ask Him to help you believe. ask Jesus to help you to turn away from evil and wrong-doings – this is the only way to true life, love, healing, freedom. The enemy doesn’t want you to be saved. They interfere with you believing in God, try to stop you from accepting Jesus, try to stop you from turning away from wrong-doings and obeying the Commandments.
As you give Jesus the access, the permission for Him to come into your life and heart, He WILL heal and help you, as He had done for me, and wants to do for you too.

“It’s too late for me.”
Jesus says otherwise.
“I’m in too deep.”
Jesus says otherwise.
“I’m too old, I’ve done too much wrong.”
Jesus says otherwise.
“I’ve spent my whole life cursing God, I’m too far gone to ask for forgiveness.”
Jesus says otherwise.
Let us not forget the thief on the Cross who died alongside Jesus. He asked Jesus to remember him in heaven, moments before his final breath… and Jesus accepted him saying, “Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.” (Luke 23:43). It’s never too late for you to know God. Your past is not too much for Him to forgive. Grace is a free gift and it is FOR YOU, you need only to ask. Does it seem too good to be true? Absolutely. But this is our God—He does the impossible! His love is unconditional. He is so good to us!

My Cellphone is teaching me lessons
Situation: I just came off a bus where some good Samaritans and I were trying to rescue my phone from a literally rock and a hard place (well the front of a ledge and the back of some box- like structure that’s sole purpose seems to be trapping things behind it). Long story short, it fell when I stood up to get off, which often happens, but got trapped in a really awkward place. After 30 mins of being stopped, which I’m still embarrassed about because it inconvenienced others, we were able to get it out. If this was an isolated incident with my phone, I wouldn’t be writing anything. But as it happens, I have a history with this phone. I’ve lost it numerous times: on buses, on an airport, in classrooms, in an uber, etc. But each and every time I get it back. THE SAME PHONE. I started to think that it was cursed.
Interpretation: But if you change the perspective, how likely is it that someone loses their phone and gets it back the same day? There is a possibility but I’m always grateful that I get it back even though I know ultimately it’s replaceable. It’s obviously a limited analogy, but so far, no matter what happens, I always get that phone back.
Application: Reflecting on this experience reminds me how in a more perfect and guaranteed way, that Christ always has us. No matter where we may lose ourselves and find ourselves in a rock and a hard place, He will get us out and bring us to Himself again. Once we are saved, that’s His promise to us. If we stray, He will discipline us but He will bring us back. Remember the parables of the lost sheep, lost coin and prodigal son.
 Happy Easter Everyone 😊

Crisp breeze yet warm sun marks its start.
It's the anomoly they call autmn.
Like a warm beverage with an ice cube the temperature is
A strange mixing of the two
Also the colours of the trees are signature motifs in the Divine Artist's masterpiece of the changing time.
Each wearing a rainbow counting backward from green
An ominus sign of the season to come
Nevertheless their deciduousness reminds us of that of life.
"To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven...."
"A time to be born, and a time to die..."
"A time to gain and a time to lose..."
A time to be grateful. A time to reminisce on the goodness of our Maker.
A time to appreciate the fallen heroes.
Lest we forget.
A time to rest from our labour
Day in and day out the sun ends its shift a bit ealier
While the night watch increases for the moon.
The wind picks up and carries away the last remaning eddys of warmth
And leaves grey skies and rain clouds and mud puddles and galoshes
And soon we wonder where is went.
Like words on the tip of our tongue
Like the details we stratch our heads for
Like a dream that leaves us the moment we wake up
It's gone. Autumn.
Only to return like deja vu the next year.

Self-love is like lighting a candle, it will burn and smell nice for a little while. The soft glow of the flame will illuminate the room temporarily, but soon that flame will burn out. The world says that we must love ourselves and everyone else, so in doing that we create many candles. That is a comforting thought when all you have known is darkness, in fact, we all would start the world on fire if it meant we were never alone in the dead of night. Yet, God invites us to experience his love and grace. God’s love is not a candle, nor is it a bonfire; no, His love is the sun. We know that with a single candle we only see the things  that are near, but God is saying “I am the light, by me you will see all things.” and that is how it is when the dawn comes. We finally see that what once was frightening to us is simply the outline of mountains and trees, we see others in the full light of who God is, and it’s beautiful. You can love yourself and it will be nice for a moment, but you will be left with smoke and ash when the flame dies out. A candle can be blown out by the smallest of winds, but the sun can never be extinguished. Step out of your dimly lit room, beloved, and come experience the full warmth of Christ’s endless love for you. Because when you step out, you will finally understand what it means to be whole, you will finally understand what it means to be wanted and valued, and you will finally accept what it means to be home.

Our declaration is not, “You’re a sinner who needs to stop sinning.” Our declaration is, “There is a loving God who wants to lavish upon you his love despite your sin. If you would get that, sin wouldn’t seem so sweet.
