🚨 WARNING TO ALL KIA SPORTAGE OWNERS! 🚨

I bought a brand-new 2025 Kia Sportage in December, expecting a safe and reliable vehicle. Within days, I noticed something felt off with the brakes, but I brushed it off as me adjusting to a new car. That was a huge mistake.

On December 27, while driving home, a deer ran into the road. I had plenty of time to stop, but when I hit the brakes, they didn’t work. The pedal turned into a brick, and my car kept rolling forward, causing me to crash into the deer.

I later discovered that Kia had recalled previous Sportage models (2023 & 2024) for faulty brake boosters—and my experience matched the defect exactly. I took my car to the dealership, and after a week, they confirmed: YES, my brake booster was defective.

Because of Kia’s negligence, I have:

✅ A damaged car that should have never been sold with a faulty brake system

✅ Paid out-of-pocket for repairs and a $1,000 deductible

✅ Higher insurance premiums for an accident that wasn’t my fault

✅ A depreciated vehicle with an accident on its record

✅ Fear of driving a car that almost killed me

And what is Kia of America offering? Just my deductible back. That’s an insult. I expect full compensation for my losses OR a replacement vehicle that is actually safe.

If you own a 2025 Kia Sportage, be careful—this could happen to you. Kia needs to take responsibility for selling unsafe vehicles.
