Better late than never. It is the last blog posting for our technopreneurship. All feelings that may be felt are all encountered from the beginning up to the last chapter for this subject. Hardships, happiness, sadness, rejection, and others. Yet it was fun. Happy to encounter those kind of feelings.

Seeing each team striving and learning from those rejection and failure was really appreaciated. This was a really great help for us because we learned to accept failure in life. We learned how to overcome it. And also we learned what success and failure really is.

Learning to deal other people . Learning to face each fears. Learning to witness each ones weakness and strength. Putting yourself in someone else shoe. Yes all of this was our learning. For the information of others this technopreneurship was no written exams, quizzes. Its all about talking and presenting yourself to others. Technopreneurship is conducting a startup that can really help our community. After conducting, you need to mingle others to know if its really a problem and to know how to solve it.

For this weeks, we are all busy for the fabrications, approvals, planning those do's and dont's amd also making our paperworks since it is also required to pass. All of us seems not ready in presenting for our final pitching because some are not yet done for their machine. We cant be presenting it without any prototype to be seen. Like what sir bronson did last time that she only presenting a picture and let us think what it is all about. Each one of us has a different interpretation. In order to understand what you really mean you need some prototype to be presented so that they will not just imagine it.

The NEWGENCY will continue what we had started. Yes this semester might end but the bonding that we had will last longer. "Some people arrive and make such a beautiful impact on your life, you can barely remember what life was like without them". Before I end this i would like to say THANKYOU for the EXPERIENCE. This will mark forever in each of us.

In this week we do nothing in our class time like lecture or presenting any. We just focus on what we need to compile to reach the deadlines of the pitching time. Since it is fast approaching we need to double time what we started .

We are focusing in making the prototype of our startup which is the shredder machine.. We cant built that machine in just by imagination, so with that we made a plan and design to build it. We dont have any idea for alternative way on how to make our machine that we can less of spending money but rather finding some cheapest materials and fabrication for the sake of this pitching.

We are still students , we dont have enough money to fund for it . Thats why we enter this startup to find some investor who can finance and help us to build our start up. We also spend money to build it for our investor to get their attentions and to convince them. Thats why we are making a prototype.

Other people think that its a waste of time making this without any sure that it will succeed and grow. Thats why we are validating to know if it is really a problem and thats what a startup is. Success in life comes when you simple refuse to give up, with goals so strong that obstacles and failure only acts as motivation.

Blog#12_4b

Our new instructor Engr. Jabile assigned us to make this three things:

brochure

business plan and

the updates

Since she had no idea yet about our startup. And to know the progress of what we had.

This task might be challenging since she doesn’t give enough instructions on how to do it. We decided to assign a task for each member .The brochure design was created by the two members of the team and the update was created by the other two. The brochure was given a business name of “PRO-SHREDS” since we are making a shredder machine. The update was also assigned to Miss Muring and yours truly since we organized the latest validation.

For our business plan, it is compose of and abstract,objectives, strategies, sales, marketing and financial forecasts. Since it is more likely a milestone we only made a revision for it. We already had a milestone for our startup because sir bronson instructed us to do this . Since we already divided the task engr. Jabile told us that the three assigned task must be presented for the next meeting.

The deadline, the final exams, the pitching, they are all just fast approaching. Everything is in a rush . But NEWGENCY believe that we can make it even though how hectic the schedule is and know how to manage and balance the time that we have. As long as we are together as one we can do it.

Blog#11_4b

Since our 2 instructor for lecture and for the lab is not around due to some urgent things or appointments to do. Engr. Bronson attended some seminars and Engr. Shahani file a leave for 2 months and its effectiveness was last week. Eventhough the leave start last week Engr. Shahani still come to inform us about this matter and told us who will be our substitute instructor.

Dr. Liezl Jabile was our substitue instructor , we know her because she is one of our instructor last sem . On friday september 21,2018 Dr. liezl start seeing us , she ask if what realy the subject is, if we have a wriiten exam or what we did in this technopreneurship. We told Dr. liezl that we are making a startups , we have already a group compose of 4 member each group and still processing for the said startups. Also she ask for the updates of each group startups.

Were still in the process building the prototype for our product . One of my team do the canvass for the materials and other for the fabricating. We are in the process for our frame making. In order to finish it we need to divide our team for each responsibility to do.

Since its not the only subject that we had and also the project that we need to do we need to balance our time. The key is not to prioritize whats on your schedule but to schedule your priorities.

In my last week blog i stated there that we go to lumbo alubijid to had the validation. Yes we go there but we were not able to have the market validation why? Is it because there is no cacao farmers in that area. With that we failed to do so. We go back with nothing but alteast we tried.

Wednesday September 12 2018 that was the time that maam shahani will ask for the updated. We told maam the right reason i mention above.We go back to opol were we first validated. Then again we failed for the second time around. As we go there we did not meet sir ben because he is so busy. Sir ben is one of the cacao farmers head that is under in the department of agriculture. We need to set an appointment first so that we are able to meet him.

Friday september 14 2018

All of us dont know what to do and what to say to maam because we failed again. So we try to contact sir ben if he is vaccant then praise the lord alleluia he is available. Opportunity knocks only once so we grab it. Elaiza, romel and yours truly go to opol . We are not able to attend our class to had this opportunity. So that we can give an updates to maam next week since sir bronson is not available.

Honestly we are behind in this subject because sir was not able to go in our time due to hectic schedule . Other section is in the module 10 already and we are still in module 8. Since sir was not able to come in our class maam shahani will let us do more market validation for our proposal. Even though how many times we failed its not a loss for our team NEWGENCY. Sometimes you have to forget what is gone , appreciate what still remains and look forward to whats coming next.

BLOG#9_4B

There is an opportunity that coming in us. Our Team has given a chance to pursue what we had started. We are lucky that our team is one of it.Even if it is a big responsibilty still a great opportunity for us.

This week was the time that we must know what was the result for our pitching last week. Honestly, I am not able to hear the results for our group its because I am late that time , but as what my team told me the result was critical. Why? Is it because where in the state of neutral score which have the same number of 4 and 2.In order to know to say that your proposal was really accepted you must have greater number of 4.We was so happy to hear that result because we know how to be contented and we really did our best to the pitching.

Since Engr. Bronson was not there in the time of our class Engr. Shahani takes place. She ask every team to make a progress report for updates of the market validation since all of us got a comment from them to have a more validations. In the progress report we stated there the lumbo laguindingan misamis oriental. The place that we need to validated since we cant go to opol misamis oriental in weekends. We stated dfferent question that we must us to the cacao farmers .

For the next week, Engr. Shahani will ask the update regarding to the question in the progress report that we wrote. We must take a little bit steps to make it, we just need to comply the conditions that ask by the panels. Today is not just another day. Its a new beginning, another chance and a new opportunity. So with this we embrace it.

All those tiring and busy week we encounter it results success. Yes it was considered as a success of each of us. " "Success comes when you simply refuse to give up, with goals so strong that obstacles,failure and loss only act as motivation." Those failures that we encounter gives us courage to fight and to stand still . It is just a beginning of our journey not the end.

As I stated for my last blog that we will continue validating our proposal . Yes we did, we go to malasag were we can find the cacao farmers their to help us answer those question that will support our study. It was tired yet enjoying.The feeling that you are tired but you keep going. They said that " nasugdan nmn, kay naa nmn ta diri padayunon nlng nato". All of us participate and helping each other because we all know that success will start within us.

August 22 2018, that was the day of our pitching. All was busy and feel nervous. We are the 5 presentor of the 11 group. I am not the one who will pitch but i feel nervous that time not only me but all of us. Aside from that I know that Eliza will do her best and she has the courage to fight and to defend our proposal and yes she did. We were si happy hearing those comments of the panel to us. We never expected those kind of result that we got. We didnt see the result but we can feel it.

Also this week we attended lecture series. A lecture for those who have a start-up, an idea and to those who are willing to know more about this. It is realy a big opportunity to attend those kind of event because you can meet those people who succeed in this kind of work. But sad to say we are not able to finish what we started and the workshop because we have a class to attend too. Last week Engr. Mabulay was back and he discussed or tackled about the MVP. In his discussion he mentioned the topic about where we know the gain and the pain of our customer. And also how we were able to get a funding and investment for our proposal. Engr. Mabulay told us to make a new BMC which must be presented last friday, but sad to say Engr. Mabulay was not around so we are not able to present it.

For the updates, we continue doing our validation process which we go to opol municipality to interviewed some farmer that they handle. We interviewed one of the officers for the cacao farmers, he suggested that instead of shredder machine only we make a molder for the shredd cacao pods in which they make it as a charcoal. He also said that it will be "demand now a days" because of there is more cacao tree in this year.

We will continue doing our validation maybe after exam week. Each one of us will need a time to prepare and study for our exams that will taken up.Also we dont know yet when will be the pitching and the exact way of pitching since sir Mabulay was not around by the time he will be discussing it. But we will do our best to present it.

Due to hectic schedule we have we are not able to send our blog on time we are verry sorry for passing it late.Better late than never . Lastly "have FAITH and BELIEVE in yourself everything will work out and got the BEST "

A Very hard and tired week for us, why? Its because you dont know what to do and how to start your week. Feeling of emptiness, lazyness, tiring day, and all feelings that you can say that it was hard. The feeling that you want to give up but still standing. Those feeling was maybe because of the proposal that going to be rejected soon. We are not giving up because we dont have the potentials but we realize that we cant surpass the potentials that the computer engineering have. Youre wondering why i am talking to them? Yes they are because our proposal was similar to them then the problem was their proposal is already approved.

We dont have an idea if we will continue and fight for it or find another one. Maam shahani told us to make a new BMC answering those question that sir Bronson comment to us. No matter how we feel we still get up, dress up, shown up and never give up. Yes , no matter what we encounter we need to face it so that we can move forward.

Since there is no lecture class happen because sir bronson was not around . We use the time to make our revise BMC that content that we write was still the same because we dont change it but maybe next meeting we are planning for what was the final desisyon for our proposal. We believe that no matter how many times we fall the important thing was how we stand up despite of those challenges we face.

Waiting for the decision of our instructor regarding for our proposal so that we can prepare for the pitching time that approaches. Success is the result of hardwork, learning from failure , loyalty ang persistence. Once again "it does not matter how you fall, but how you stand back up.

Success is the result of hardwork, learning from failure, loyalty and persistence. One of my team know first the result of our proposal if it is approve or not. It is not stated in the comment but we already know that we need to look for another. Failure is simply the oppurtunity to begin again,but this time more intelligently. We didnt decide yet if what were gonna propose next because we didnt meet yet. Maybe this coming monday we discuss and have a brainstorming again regarding for this.

Even though we felt a little bit sad for the result we know that this will lead us to be strong and gives motivation in each of everyone. On the past week also maam shahani discuss the BMC to us and let us made . But it is the continuation of our plan A proposal . The details we put in our BMC is all about our laundry shop. And also we continued collecting data and havibg a survey before sir Mabulay commented. If youre not failing everynow and again its a sign that we are not doing anything.

We believe that no matter much we fail we must accept and learn from it for the next part of our journey. Making startup is not easy because we need to know our market if who will be our costumer for our product and to gain from it. We are continuing the data gathering we do last week because it is stated in our milestone. Looking forward for the next plan.

We willbe discussing for our plan b and we will make sure that it is better from the past.Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again. We already accept that we are rejected because we know that the COE will do the best than for us. Itis not giving up but it is acceptance. If everyone is moving forward together then success take care for itself.

It was my first time joining a lecture series that Mr. Bronson brought us entitled team formation and team dynamics with a guest speaker which is the CEO of the streetby Mr. Ronald Rhey Minoza. In the event they present their core values which also leads them to become a successful one and makes us remember. Faith centric, respect balance for work life, integrity, excellence, commitment, openness/transparency and lastly the community engagement. They show different tactics in a team formation and team dynamics that the streetby undergo. We should also learn to know the right people in forming a team in order to know what is lacking based in our problem.

Regarding to our proposal their still no updates if it is approve or not . But still we are proceeding and following our milestone. This week is the data gathering we surveyed random people . We asked them of what is the problem about laundryshop. Their is one common answer only which is they dont have a pick up and delivery service. With this we give an additional question, what are the reason why would they prefer to have those kind of services? They stated that it is hassle, waste of time, busy or no time, and lastly "magbayad naman lamg gani ta, unta kanang effortless na". With these statement we can say that we need to pursue this our proposal and fight for it.

Also we surveyed different laundry shop in C.M recto Avenue Lapasan Cagayan de oro City, since we are only targeting the Cagayan De Oro City. we only asked some few laundry shop owner since their is no approval posted yet. As we go in our journey we asked if they offer a pick up and deliveey services in there laundry shop. Some say no but other say that they are planning also but still they have lack of requirement. We asked also that if we offer a website to feature your laundry shop are they willing to sign up for it ? They say why not? it is a big opportunity for them to make their laundry shop known to others, it is a big help for their laundry shop. Those interested owner told us that " picturi na ninyo among laundry shop para ma feature na ninyo ".

Still waiting for the approval to have a better progress of this. And we will still continue doing our survey in different places in the cagayan de oro city. If given a chance we will surely give a convienient and accessible . Given those idea that the CEO of the streetby share to us we will apply those thing in our proposal also. Approval Week. Blog #3

"Laundry at your fingertips".Last week we did our concept presentation for our plan A together with Eliza Muring and your’s truly. Since sir Mabulay had meeting that time so ma’am Lagura instructed us to present our plan A while waiting for sir to come. And regarding for the presentation, we had only 3 minutes to present it. What is our idea? We came up with an idea of a laundry shop website.

During the presentation, we need to answer the 5 question which is the idea, benefits and solutions, who are we affecting, how would it happen, why would they change their behavior and why now? And lastly who will be our competitors. Why we came up to an idea of a laundry shop website? Simply because our objectives are to provide an application or a website where Customers and Sellers (laundry shop owners) interact in an accessible and convenient way of laundry services. Customers may choose to our trusted partners. And also to provide innovation as a solution to the basic necessity problem(Laundries). According to present studies the RISING SALES OF ANDROID PHONES, the RISING NUMBERS OF INTERNET USERS and the more people accountable in social medias. Why not driving to this points? People are too busy to multitask and one’s basic necessities is clothing. With this application you do important things at home while doing laundry you don’t need to wait many hours for your laundry at laundry shops. This will make your time more efficient and productive. With just one click someone will pick up your laundry at your location and will deliver it door to door then two forms of payment upon delivering.

There are 3 groups remains when sir mabulay arrived. He continue the lecture about Dr. johnson's products and how he become successful.This week according to our milestone is focus on the researching and studying our competitors and their features. We are now starting making our website this provides an evidence and support our proposals that we presented. Also it can connect for the next week activity and to make it easy to understand.

In studying our competitors and features it gives us knowledge on what to put in our website to make it successful. What they dont have that our website had. Teamwork, passion and willingness are the only weapon that we had in pursuing our proposal no matter what happen. With this the newgency has the courage to fight for it because as a team this is the foundation that we can build to make it strong. Hoping and waiting for the approval of our proposal so that we can proceed in our next plan which is data gathering. That is the time to interview a customer and a laundry shop owner.

WEEK THREE

It’s a second week of making my blog, want to know the updates for my previous blog? Before that let’s do a recap for the last week. Idealization was the first thing we do to formulate a startup. Gathering, debating, finalizing and lastly we presented, those are the things that we did. What happened after we presented our ideas? This is it, presenting an ideas were not easy if you don’t have the guts and passion to accept failures, feedback and negative comments. In this subject which is technopreneurship we must have the passion and the willingness. “fail fast, learn fast “

Learning is an active process, we learn by doing only knowledge that is used sticks in your mind.  is. As we presented our milestone and our 3 formulated ideas there was a question that made us think. This was, is there a programmer in your team? We know that all of us are have an experience about programming but it is not enough to make our startup. Yes, we don’t have that kind of person but if we really want to work for it in pursuing I know and we know that we can make it. Having some sort of knowledge is great enough than nothing.

Our adviser told us to think among the 3 ideas which is our plan A that we need to present next week. So as a team we decided that our plan A would be the laundry shop app. It is like a lazada process but it differs only on what is inside our app which is the different laundry shop owners. For example, if I am the client I will choose which laundry shop I will prefer depends on what they offer. And also the location of the different laundry shop. Same as usual all transactions are online, in paying it will depend only to the client or the laundry ship if it is cash on delivery (COD) or through accounts.

 I’ve learned for this week that whatever decisions, feedback and advice that we get we must take this as a lesson in pursuing a better startup. Believing in yourself and as team is one of the best way that lead us to success. Great things are accomplished by the people who believe they will accomplish them. Here we go , the first week of writing a blog but not the first week of class. As our instructor which is sir bronson introduce what start up is , we dont have any idea there was a question mark running into our head. This week is an idealization week which leads us to think of the product for our start up. What, how, and why, are the best question to describe a start up. Brainstorming, gathering and sharing of ideas was the first thing we do. We came up in debating and defending the 3 ideas that we formulated which is agency website , laundry shop app, and corn kernel stripper. We study the features of our competitors in order to know what they dont have that we have.he agency website will focus to undergraduate who didnt have the opportunity to apply and get a job.We also provide a security of the clients to the employer. It will be a great help to them when this project implement. Unlike to our competitors which are the kalibrr and the jobstreet will focus to those graduate and professional one. "The capacity to learn is a gift, the ability to learn is a skill and the willingness to learn is a choice", this quote was by brian herbert. Those that have tha capacity to learn can use the gift by actually developing their ability to learn. As we go on in our idealization state I realize that if we dont have that willingness to do , the guts that we have in fulfilling to be successful will be useless. Passion and facing your fear is also the best thing we need to encounter. Believing in your self, ideas and your willingness will leads to success. "A goal without a plan is just a wish". Answering a question of what to next?, so the first thing to do was presenting our milestone and proposal to our instructors which is maam truza and sir bronson to have their approval in pursuing this. After that if it will be given a chance , we will interview some consumers to have some data of our product. Lastly we can start building our start ups.
