Gender is difficult because I do sometimes wonder if my disconnect from being a "girl" is because of the expectations placed on me - I'm Asian, but not delicate or quiet, with a deeper voice and 'impolite' mannerisms - but I also don't think that, for me personally, the minutiae really matter. Some days I feel like a girl and some days I feel like anything but, so I just go with it. And that just is what it is. I'm fortunate to not experience a lot of dysphoria most days though. IDK

i think this is an important conversation to have; once upon a time i thought i was trans and that was because i wasn't feminine and i had typically masculine interests such as video games and sports.

but it's also important to remind the women in our lives that they don't have to fit into societal expectations of what a woman is "is" in order to be considered feminine
