Modern Revenge Au: 20 years ago the Targaryen’s were destroyed Aerys and Rhaegar went to prison but that was a bed of their own making. But it left others open to commit a terrible crime. Elia Martell and her daughter were murdered, Rhaella Targaryen and Lewyn Martell went to prison for the rest of their lives for what the Lannisters did. 

The Lannisters live a life of privilege with little worry. The new generation of Targaryen’s are destroying themselves. Rhaella’s daughter ran away with an older man. Rhaella’s son is a begger who is only a threat to himself. And it’s like Aegon died with his mother and sister because nobody has heard from him in years.

Griff Blackfyre moves in next door to the Lannisters summer house and starts dating Myrcella.....

AU where Aerys dies in his throne room, Rhaegar dies on the battle field but their widows survive them. They are young king Aegon’s regents, they rule the seven kingdom for 15 years, they wear black but they are not mourning the men use to control them.
