The image shows that New Zealand prime minister Jacinda Ardern is taking a new role as minister for child poverty. I think that this could reduce child poverty in New Zealand if the government puts child poverty as their first priority.

I like this quote because it is something that everyone is not new to here in New Zealnd. Going to school pretending that ’we forgot our lunch’ is a common excuse that children make when is interval time. I believe that it is time to make a change by helping our young children and keeping them warm and healthy everytime they go to school.

This photo has pretty much summed up what poverty is. I believe what this photo is trying to say or prove that the cause of child poverty in New Zealand is the government and working places because when working hours decrease making it hard for parents to pay for everything while the government increases tax income making it even more hard for the parents to supply for their families.

This video is about people in New Zealand having to put up with poverty and the number of money families spends on food and on school supplies. Half of the students who go to school either have no shoes, no proper bag or have not had their breakfast which is an important meal of the day for young children who goes to school. whereas in Sweden the government has made health care directly accessible to children through school. Rich or poor the children have free meals. I think that our government should do the same thing because it is important that our young children to stay healthy and warm.

This photo shows how 20 per cent of kiwi children live in homes that are not warm enough and is considered to be income poverty. This also shows how children in New Zealand walk around with no shoes and some people are considered as a normal thing walking around with no shoes. I think that it is important that every kid in New Zealand deserve a warm place and equipment for school including shoes.

This article talks about the responses of child poverty in New Zealand and solutions to solve child poverty and reduce the numbers of poverty in New Zealand. The decision comes as Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern's signature Child Poverty Reduction Bill, which requires the Government to set targets to reduce the child poverty rate. I think that it is a great idea for Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern to make child poverty a priority of hers because of many majorities of the Polynesian and other ethnicities have no place to keep warm at night.

this article can also relate to my other posts because it talks about the statistic of child poverty in New Zealand. Base on this article about  254,000 children was in low-income homes after housing costs were deducted, up 2.4 percent from the previous year. The quantity of kids living in poor family units had been diminishing since 2015, however ascended in the year to June 2018. This has become a major problem in New Zealand and child poverty needs to be decreased.

this article talks about the statistic of child poverty in New Zealand and comparing poverty over the past few years. it also shows a graph of poverty between 2013 to 2018 how it has increased within those years. Baes on this article it is ensured that the child poverty estimates released for 2017/18 are robust enough to use as baselines for setting 3- and 10-year targets.

this article talks about a few reasons why child poverty is one of New Zealand's major problem in today's society. According to this article over the past 5 years, the Child Poverty Monitor has been a check of the degree of kid neediness in New Zealand. In earlier years, the Child Poverty Monitor has included the Ministry of Social Development information on youngsters in family units encountering pay neediness and material hardship.

This book basically talks about the issues that young New Zealanders are facing today such as child poverty, high rate of suicide and deprivation in a context of high levels of inequality. The number of young children facing common issues has increased and it needs to change. “New Zealand is a good place to bring up children” is as a major concern because according to child poverty statistic there are more Polynesian children who either goes to school with no shoes, lunch, and lunch box which they should have all children should have at school.

This article talks about the statistic of child poverty in New Zealand and how it has increased over the past few years. According to the article majority of the children in poverty are Maori, and Pacifica children who have no one to rely on and are moving from houses into cars or garages because of how to tax income has increased. It is essential to address child poverty as a social and economic priority. I think that it is important that every New Zealanders has a place to live or a home to call home instead of being asked or moved out of their houses.

Both authors (Jonathan Boston and Simon Chapple) takes a gander at these inquiries, drawing on accessible national and worldwide proof and addressing a crowd of people over the political range. This book goes past, showing the size of the test and why it must be routed, to distinguishing good choices for decreasing child poverty.

Quote
Poverty is like punishment for a crime you didn't commit.
http://www.quotehd.com/quotes/eli-khamarov-poverty-is-like-punishment-for-a-crime-you-didnt
I believe what Mr. Eli is trying to convince the people that poverty is no joke and that people need to understand that children who are in poverty need help. It also talks about the innocent children’s who are in poverty are innocent and that they have not done anything wrong or cause any trouble and yet they are in poverty for something they did not commit or deserve. Eli Khamarov wants the world to know that children in poverty need our help.

Quote
When a poor person dies of hunger, it has not happened because God did not take care of him or her. It has happened because neither you nor I wanted to give that person what he or she needed.
https://www.azquotes.com/author/14530-Mother_Teresa
This quote can relate to child poverty because Mother Teresa, who is a well known and respected nun, talked about poor people and child poverty. Children dying from starvation or diseases, and no one reacts to it. I think that Mother Teresa directed this quote to people who have everything they need and have, whereas children in poverty are looking for a warm place to sleep and a place where they can call home without being asked to move.

There are two types of kids in this world, for example, kids that have everything they need and kids that have nothing and moving from place to place for shelter and looking for a warm place to stay in. New Zealand has about 270,000 kids living in poverty because families can no longer afford a house, been asked to move out of there houses and tax income has increased so as housing salary. although we can not see the struggle of children living in a poverty line it is time that we help them.
