Books like Beasts of the Briar

I finished the three books of the Beasts of the Briar series that are out right now. I died and came back to life i love them so much!

And now I'm in a reading slump. I want something with kind of the same vide character wise. I really like the reverse harem but it's not a dealbreaker. I tried to read Broken Bonds but I just wasn't connecting with the FMC.

In the Mandalorian, they say yoda's species ages slower than others, and baby-yoda is 50 years old but looks/behaves like a 1-year-old. That means that yoda, at 900 years old, wasn't actually ancient and wise but was actually the equivalent of 18 fucking years old

JT and Malcolm have such an older/younger sibling dynamic it hurts.

Malcolm is just constantly in his hair running around like “hey! Hey look at me! Hey hang out with me! Hey what’s up! Hey watch me do this!” And JT is wishing he could yell at Mom (Gil) to tell Malcolm to just get the hell out of his room.

(And then when, magnificently, they actually do get along, it’s to do slightly reckless shit that might get them in trouble with Gil Mom)
