Really wish explotar didn’t mean “to explode” AND “to exploit”
Is it a manipulative person or is it a bomb threat? I guess we’ll find out together

I’m like the Russian language. In some cases I’m randomly stressed when I don’t expect to be and don’t know why.

to anybody who is learning a language, please remember this:
it’s okay to lose motivation sometimes. theres not too much you can do about that, learning a foreign language is hard and it takes time. sometimes, it takes so much time that you start to forget why you even starting learning it.
take a deep breath. write out a list of goals to accomplish for the week/month/day. light a few scented candles, find a place where you won’t get distracted. give yourself breaks.
it’ll be okay. again, learning a language is anything but a piece of cake. you’ll get there, take your time. it’s okay. go at your own pace, use the strategies that work best for you.
you can do it. keep learning, keep studying, keep making mistakes. it will all pay off in the end.

Note
You guessed all the languages correctly, well done!
猫は尻尾がふわふわですよね
Cat’s have fluffy tails, don’t they?
Where the 猫「ねこ」is cat and 尻尾「しっぽ」means tail.
よね is often used in a sense of ‘isn’t it’ or ‘right’ there isn’t really a direct English translation.
Euskararen jatorria ezezaguna da
The origin of the Basque language is unknown.
I stole this sentence off of the Basque wiki about the Basque language. My knowledge of Basque is very very basic, but I do want to look into more when I’m more confident in my other target languages.
我要吃全家福 wǒ yào chī quánjiāfú
I want to eat family portrait.
I specifically chose this sentence as it sounds really bizarre if you directly translate it.
全家福 Quánjiāfú literally means family portrait, if you type 全家福 into google images, you’ll be greeted with a multitude of photos of Chinese families.
However, 全家福 is also the name of a type of Chinese stew. Plus a lot of authentic Chinese food has creative names which do little do describe the dish. Such as 麻婆豆腐 mápó dòufǔ (Mapo Tofu) which can be translated as Pockmark grandma’s beancurd, which a is spicy tofu dish made with beef or pork in a thick sauce with Szechuan peppercorns. It’s difficult to guess what it is from the title, but the name apparently came from an older lady with pockmarks (to jest taka blizna na twarzy taka jak czasami się ma po ospie) who invented the dish and sold it in her restaurant in Chengdu (Szechuan’s capital).
I’m not entirely sure why the stew is called family portrait, but meal time is a very social activity in Chinese culture and families very often eat meals together so I assume the connection lies there.
Polyglot game, wysyłam ci zdania w trzech różnych językach, good luck :) // 猫は尻尾がふわふわですよね~ // Euskararen jatorria ezezaguna da. // 我要吃全家福
Oh no... I don't know any of these languages u_u
• The first sentence is in Japanese, I'm just starting to learn it, I can read parts written in hiragana:
*kanji* (subject) wa *kanji kanji* ga (object) fuwafuwa desu (= be) yone
• The second one is in Basque language (Euskara) - I think... because Euskararen looks similar. But I don't know what it means :((
• The third sentence is in Chinese... probably Mandarin, because you're learning it ;) but again, I don't understand any of it :(((
Either way, this was fun! Thank you ^_^

I might be less active this week, life and uni have been kicking me whilst i’m down. I have an overdue festival temauke from last week, hopefully I’ll get around to it. I’ll try to queue/schedule some stuff, so my blog won’t be dry.
