sammy’s chest tightened at the sound of a voice, not wanting to reveal himself quite yet and not wanting to look at who was there.  instead, slender arms wrap around knees that are already pulled up to his chest to hide his humiliation.  ‘and what if they are ??  what kinda guy wears a skirt ??  does he think he’s a girl or somethin’ ??’  one guy spoke up, causing sammy’s eyes to water further as he closed them.  he knew he was strange, they didn’t have to tell him twice.  he just wished he could be left alone, wished he hadn’t tried to sneak out like this.  now he’d be in even more trouble.

( ✪ ) ----   Whistling out a low tune, Theo turned on his heels and started down the street. The night air felt amazing on his burning skin and he was almost thankful for Luna kicking him out of the house to run ‘ errands. ’ Really, she’d been hoping for some peace and quiet to put the kids to sleep and Theo wasn’t helping that one bit tonight. His prior training had left him extremely warm and sweaty, though, so he appreciated the light breeze.

  Ears perked at some pretty awful words being shouted at an unsettling volume. This wasn’t how he wanted his calm night to go but… oh well. Time to play hero. Immediately clipping his hands onto the closest men to him, Theo broke into a chummy grin, tone extremely chipper for the vice grip he had above their clavicles. “Evening, guys.” His bi-colored eyes swept across the scene for a moment before continuing. “Those are some pretty nasty names. Hope none of those are directed towards them.” His head jerked towards the person cowering away from them, not having noticed who they were quite yet.

sammy knew an alleyway wasn’t exactly the safest place to be having a panic attack, but it wasn’t like he could help it.  and it wasn’t like he could help the guys catcalling him when they thoughthe was a girl, only to turn around and call him awful names when they realized he wasn’t, and it was just getting to him finally.  and now he sat there gasping for air like a fish out of water, curling in on himself to try and make the world disappear.
