The very name tells us that something is tearing, and that is the river Slunjcica which over travertine rocks flows into river Korana, while through Rastoke creating many small lakes, rapids and waterfalls, most notably Buk, Hrvoje and Fairy hair, and holes rastočkim travertine live and otters that have returned after a long absence in large numbers. Waterfalls Slunjčica, also the Plitvice lakes, have long been unknown due to its traffic isolation, and are not interested in neither the Turkish invaders during the Military Border. Rastoke tell us about the symbiosis of fantastic natural creations and human technical achievements spanning many centuries, and there is a so-called mills - millers. This is the first time that the primitive machines not powered by human or animal power, and were built so that the words used by several millstones for various types of milling, and with them we find the so called baskets which served for rinsing of woolen items and clothes washing, so that they can be called the first washing.The first mills dating back to the 17th century, and is presumed earlier, while the largest number of dwellings built in the late 19th century. And early 20th century and made of wood and travertine. Many waterfalls are named after the owners of the mills. Back in 1860, linguist and travel writer Adolf Veber Rastoke described as indescribable sweetness of the scene and invites travelers to come, see and admire, and one of the waterfalls is described as enormous tile with a large floral pattern, while others called the huge roman Fontana di trevi by Croatian cut.

Okay, I swear this blog is gonna get more active soon, just bear with me a while longer, ‘kay guys? I’ve got some pretty sweet stuff in the works, both here and on AO3, so that’s a thing.

My brain has melted, and these are as good as they’re gonna get for a while now. That said, I do have the structure in place, so it’s mostly a matter of filling in the blanks at this stage.

It’s definitely a work in progress, but I’m currently adding subpages to this blog for characters, locations, a general description of the AU as a whole, and maybe some other odds and ends. I’ll let’cha know when I’m finished, so be sure to give ‘em a look!
